Appears thus, arising from the base. Self-arisen, skilled in the meaning of the base. Greatly wise, exceedingly clear. Essence, self-arisen, shows cessation. Nature, emptiness, shows permanence. Compassion, unceasing, self-born, shows manifestation, appearing in any way. Qualities, unchanging, show inexhaustibility. Activity, unimpeded, self-arisen, shows. The shower is the matrix of all. Self-arisen, knowing the key, is the measure of the base. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of Self-Liberation of Samsara, the Second Chapter: The Base, Self-Arisen, Self-Liberation. Samantabhadra spoke: Listen, Dakini, Garland of Lightning. Spontaneously accomplished, self-arisen, appears as light. Essence appears as white light. Nature appears as blue light. Compassion appears as red light. Qualities appear as yellow light. Activity appears as green light. The base itself appears as the nature of the five lights. Knowing the arising of the base, one is liberated from light. The delusion of light is self-arisen, so self-arisen, self-liberation is greatly wondrous. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of Self-Liberation of Samsara, the Third Chapter: The Five Lights, Self-Arisen, Liberation. Then, the Bhagavan Samantabhadra said: Listen, Dakini, Garland of Lightning. To be skilled in the meaning of the base mother is uncommon to all. Explaining the self-arisen five poisons: Essence, hatred, is self-arisen. Nature, ignorance, is self-arisen. Compassion, desire, is self-arisen. Qualities, pride, are self-arisen. Activity, anger, jealousy, are self-arisen. Self-arisen, knowing the base, is greatly wondrous. Self-liberation, the five poisons are purified in their place. Purified in their place, they are liberated in their own place. From the base, self-arisen, not transformed. Skilled in the general base is wise. Skilled in words is like a parrot. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of Self-Liberation of Samsara, the Fourth Chapter: The Five Poisons, Self-Arisen, Self-Liberation. Then, the Bhagavan Kuntu Zangpo said: To the Dakini, Garland of Lightning, explaining the self-arisen, self-liberation of the six realms: Essence, self-arisen, hatred, hell. Nature, self-arisen, ignorance, animals. Compassion, self-arisen, desire, pretas. Qualities, self-arisen, pride, humans. Activity, self-arisen, anger, asuras. Activity, self-arisen, jealousy, devas. The base itself, self-arisen, the five elements, light. The order, self-arisen, is the skill of the base of consciousness. The five poisons, the door, is the base itself, self-arisen. Essence in the ear, nature in the eye, compassion in the tongue, qualities in the nose, activity in the lower

Also appears in the two. The ground itself is self-manifested, without any fabrication. Groundless self-manifestation is exceedingly wondrous. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of Spontaneous Liberation from Samsara, the fifth chapter: The Self-Manifestation and Self-Liberation of the Six Realms. The Bhagavan Samantabhadra reveals the self-manifestation of the five Kayas and five consorts: The essence, the Sambhogakaya, is self-manifested. The nature, the Dharmakaya, is self-manifested. The compassion, the Nirmanakaya, is self-manifested. Qualities manifest as the Vajra Kaya. Activities manifest as the Abhisambodhi Kaya. The essence manifests as Buddhalochana. The nature manifests as Akashadhatvishvari. The compassion manifests as Pandaravasini. Qualities manifest as Mamaki. Activities manifest as Samaya Tara. The ground itself is self-manifested, wondrously great. Without needing to accomplish, it is self-manifested. Like the sun self-manifesting as light. The ground, the victorious ones, father and mother, manifest. Self-manifestation and liberation are wondrously great. Without effort or accomplishment, skilled in the ground. Qualities self-manifested, a session of meditation. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of Spontaneous Liberation from Samsara, the sixth chapter: The Self-Manifestation of the Victorious Ones, Father and Mother. The Bhagavan Samantabhadra, in the garland of Dakinis' lightning, reveals the self-manifestation of wisdom: The essence is clarity, without substance. Mirror-like wisdom is self-manifested. The nature is emptiness, without object. The wisdom of the Dharmadhatu manifests. Compassion, the various cutters. Discriminating wisdom manifests. Qualities, equal to all. Equality wisdom is. Activities, appearing as anything. Accomplishing activity wisdom is. The ground itself, inseparable, self-appearing. Essence wisdom manifests. Ye is skilled in the meaning of the ground mother. Wisdom is the quality of the ground. Knowing the great appearance of the ground. Wisdom self-manifests and liberates in its own place. If self-liberated wisdom does not manifest. Hidden wisdom plants in future times. Knowing wisdom's self-manifestation, meditating, free from disease. Not appearing as desired, from the beginning self-manifested. Self-manifested wisdom is wondrously great. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of Spontaneous Liberation from Samsara, the seventh chapter: The Self-Manifestation and Self-Liberation of Wisdom. The Bhagavan Samantabhadra reveals the intention of the Dharmakaya's self-manifestation and self-liberation: The ground mother is primordially empty and clear. Therefore, the Dharmakaya self-manifests as empty and clear. Since the cause and condition of the ground mother are not produced. Therefore, the Dharmakaya is without support and self-manifested. Since the ground mother is not conditioned. Therefore, the Dharmakaya manifests as unconditioned. The ground
