Empowered by five qualities, namely longevity, Galji, Zaga, Zagti, La God, Moon Increase, Moon Assembly, Moon Fullness, Fierce, and Constant Wanderer, etc., empowered by the five qualities of desire. Similarly, son of the lineage, since you are empowered, may you enjoy abundant prosperity. Thus, from the Tantra of the Great Wisdom Lama, extracting the Tantra of the Empowering Precious Lama, the second chapter is taught, which explains empowerment as the general pouring of wisdom. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, after prostrating to the precious crown jewel of the thousand Buddhas who made lamps, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, in order to ripen the fruit of Buddhahood for future sentient beings, if there is a noble Dharma related to empowerment, then how is the Dharma that is free from the diligence of the ultimate fruit of empowerment? Please teach. Then, the crown jewel of the thousand Buddhas who made lamps and the immeasurable four precious jewels arose from samadhi, and with a smiling face, listen, son of the resurrected blissful god. I have perfected the precious empowerment of all the Buddhas of the ten directions and three times, the essence of all empowerments, with the empowerment of the power of awareness, liberation in three moments, there are five methods of empowerment for this, namely the lamp of wisdom, the precious golden needle, the mirror, the name of the Buddha, and the vajra bell. Then proclaim these words, circumambulate the mandala, hang silk curtains on the door, and write the syllable བདྷ།（བདྷ，badha，badha，obstacle）. Alas! Son of the Mahasukha lineage, do you want to be completely liberated from suffering? Son of lineage, likewise, by empowering with the lamp of wisdom's clarity, obscuring the darkness of ignorance, one will see the truth of the Buddha. Son of lineage, the wisdom of self-awareness is unchanging, unpolluted by conceptual thought, the mind has nowhere to enter. Son of lineage, likewise, by empowering with a precious golden spoon, one will become unchanging, endowed with the power of swiftness and agility. Son of lineage, at the time when the Buddha-field appears as completely pure, one transcends the limits of grasping and being grasped. Son of lineage, likewise, by empowering with mirror-like wisdom, the Buddha-field will appear as completely pure. Son of lineage, at the time when self-arisen wisdom dawns without obstruction, the appearance of the three kayas will manifest, and at the time of dissolving into the image of wisdom, taking a body that has never been taken, one will dawn as the essence of enlightenment in the heart of enlightenment. Son of lineage, likewise, by empowering with this clear light, one will obtain the essence of enlightenment, a body free from seeking. Son of lineage, at the time when the vajra-like body is shown to be unchanging in the three times, one transcends the limits of elaboration, and since the door of compassion's arising is unceasing, the nirmanakaya proclaims as the cuckoo of awareness. Likewise, by empowering with the symbolic vajra and bell, son of lineage, the vajra is unchanging, and the bell is the empowerment of unceasing compassionate power. Alas! Son of lineage, for future pure sentient beings, act as I have taught! Having thus instructed, the activity of Garab Dorje is as follows: In the sky, the vajra bridge is unbroken, remaining in the unchanging view. On the earth, the mandala lineage does not disappear, the wisdom of realization is self-luminous. In between, the bridge of instructions is unbroken, the eight thoughts of the Buddhas of the three times, and the vidyadharas transmitting through symbols, and individuals transmitting through the ear, condensing the tantra and oral instructions and concealing them as treasures. The jewel of the crown of a thousand Buddhas, Dipamkara, the thought of self-arisen awareness, the teaching of the empowerment of the totality of awareness, from the great tantra of the wisdom lama, the chapter on teaching the lineage of the empowerment lama, the precious one, is complete.
