The Bodhicitta. Therefore, it is the root of all things. Without separation, it is held by the five great perfections of Dzogchen. If there is even a speck of consciousness, the five great elements are separated from the Buddha. Because there is awareness, ignorance is dispelled. The two, object and mind, abide and do not abide. Objects, etc., depend or do not depend. Realization, view, etc., are dependent. Because there is practice, it is not non-action. Therefore, because all is without separation. What is abandoned to the co-emergent? Without separation, what abides? How does that very nature depend on itself? In non-duality, what does it rely on? In non-practice, what is accomplished? Mind itself is self-liberated, the lord of samsara. The fool does not know this, and speaks of the selflessness of consciousness. Whose is the consciousness of selflessness? Without an object, what is experienced? Why is the experience of elaboration separated? That fool measures darkness, that one never has liberation. Therefore, you, the fortunate one, look at the meaning of the five uncreated parts. Look at the meaning of unobstructed wisdom. Look at the meaning of unchanging reality. Look at the meaning of no-mind and no-object. This is the eleventh (chapter), which shows the secret essence of the five great ones. Homage to the Bhagavan, the emptiness of non-action and duality. Non-action, non-duality, how to establish it, what is wisdom? How to establish it in the minds of others? If it can be established, then it is not non-action. If not, it becomes annihilation, without meaning. Thus, if there is establishment and consciousness, when is non-action and non-duality absent? If you want to establish it in the mind, then desire increases the separation of duality. If it is not established, then it is bound by conceptual thought. If you ask how the bound are liberated, then conceptual thoughts arise and subside on their own. Fools do not know this, so in order to create faith, the scriptures and oral instructions are explained for self-realization. Non-duality does not harm, it is self-manifestation. Therefore, know it in this way. Scripture is the essence, oral instruction is the nature. Self-realization is the great sovereign. Self-arising is the essence, self-nature is the essence. Non-dual essence is the great sovereign. Non-action is the essence, non-doing is the nature. Because it is non-dual, it is the great sovereign. Because there is a knower, it is separate from the essence. Because there is an establisher, it is separate from the nature. Because there are these two, it is separate from the great sovereign. The wise know that the three bodies are separate. Self-arising also has two aspects, there are the arising and the causing, the non-arising and the non-causing. With this skill, samsara and nirvana are both.
