The true nature is the supreme of meanings, the intention of abandonment is without artificiality, it arises spontaneously without being contrived, it is the conduct in the ultimate meaning. The nature like the sky is the unadulterated true conduct. The nature like the sun is the conduct of non-attachment and non-craving. The nature like the ocean is the conduct of being deep and vast. The nature like the earth is the conduct of all things arising. The nature like a jewel is the conduct of fulfilling all needs and desires. The nature like a lion is the conduct of fearlessness. The nature of being confident is the conduct of being without hope or fear. The nature like a lotus is the conduct of being untainted. The nature like a Titya is the conduct of not intentionally establishing. The nature like an elephant is the conduct of destroying the armies of Mara. The nature of pure and stainless is the conduct of being immutable. The nature that is primordially pure is the nature that abides in the meaning of non-duality. Because it is primordially non-dual, it does not depend on the conduct of body and speech. The nature of mind is primordially pure, it is practiced in the meaning of the essence itself. Whether or not one observes the vows, precepts, and samayas, they will not become bonds, and even if one does not observe them, there is no fault. The conduct of the Great Perfection is not the prevention of self-arising, nor is it accomplished by effort. Self-appearance is the unadulterated ornament of the mind. Thus it is said. From the Secret General Tantra. This is the nineteenth chapter, the chapter on conduct. Then, the great Lord of Secrets, Vajrasattva, asked what is the self-mastery of awareness like. The great Lord of Secrets said: Obtaining self-mastery in the mind is the supreme of all empowerments, and from the beginning, there is no need to receive empowerment. The King of Wisdom is the supreme of empowerments, and is the essence of all empowerments. It abides in the mind of the holy renunciate, and transcends the realm of conceptualization by words. The supreme self-mastery abides in the mind, and does not depend on any objects. The general pouring of awareness is the empowerment of Brahma, and the method of bestowing the general pouring of kingship. Not falling into the extremes of duality, the non-dual awareness is the completion of words. The empowerment of the mother has the experience of the son, and the non-dual empowerment is what has been obtained. Comfort in the state of abandoning clinging, the supreme empowerment is the empowerment of the radiant Victorious One, and does not depend on any individual. The vast expanse of luminosity is the supreme of bliss.

The very essence is the great, pure bindu. The nature of being uncreated, Because it abides from the beginning, it is the great bindu. In the true meaning, there is no error. Therefore, awareness is one's own power. If one does not know such a meaning, Then one is not pleased with other common things. Gradually receiving is the method. Secret mantra mudras are distinguished by empowerment. A person who has nothing, Because it contradicts the lineage, should not be shown. If shown, oneself and others will be burned in that place. Thus it is said. From the Secret General Tantra, the twentieth chapter on Empowerment. Then, Vajrasattva asked the Great Secret Lord what kind of mandala it was. The Great Secret Lord said: "Mandala, what is called mandala, Abiding in the mandala of the mind, That is the sacred mandala. Mother is the center, son is the circle, Awareness is the center, appearance is the circle, Equality is the center, clarity is the circle, The inconceivable mandala, Is the nature that cannot be shown. The mandala free from grasping and being grasped, Is the nature beyond thought. The spontaneously arising equal mandala, Is the jewel of uncreated awareness. The immeasurable palace without beginning or middle, Is the great Buddha of perfect nature. The nature mandala is without end, The great palace spontaneously accomplished from the beginning, Although there is no invitation, abiding, or prostration, The spontaneously arising teacher is manifestly enlightened. Because it possesses the mantra of self-illuminating wisdom, There is no need to offer the essence. Because it possesses the lineage of great bliss and clarity, The secret mandala pleases the deities, The supreme commitment that does not transgress the three times, The spontaneously arising, completely perfect lord of the deities. Because it is free from the stain of faults, The meaning of unknowing awareness is seen. The wisdom free from grasping is naturally clear, The unchanging secret mandala, Has no stain of faults or errors, The self-appearing wisdom has no obscurations. The three spontaneously arising pure mandalas, Are spontaneously accomplished in the state of equality." Thus it is said. From the Secret General Tantra, the twenty-first chapter on Showing the Mandala. Then, Vajrasattva asked the Great Secret Lord what the nature of samaya was like. The Great Secret Lord said: "Samaya, what is called samaya, Does not exist elsewhere, But one's own mind is samaya, Not deviating from that is the great samaya, The samaya of non-conceptual equality is, In the great wisdom samaya, The root branches
