Thus it was spoken. From the Excellent Heart Tantra, the second chapter, which demonstrates how compassion arises. Then, the Bhagavan Vajradhara, whose own nature is beyond expression, who does not abide in nirvana, who asked in the realm of realization? It is immaculate wisdom. The prophecy is that it abides in bliss, cutting off error and obscuration. If the mind does not abide in the Dharma, then it transcends the words of permanence and annihilation. Buddhas appearing as illusions of wisdom, and sentient beings appearing as illusions of wrong thoughts, since they are illusions, their nature is completely pure. In the mandala of light that is unborn and uncreated, there is no need to strive for the mandala of the gods. In the Dharmakaya, which is completely pure in nature, there is no need for bathing, cleansing, flowers, or anointing. When the essence of the sun bursts forth in the sky, there is no need to seek light and appearance everywhere. When wisdom and awareness arise from the ground, there is no need to listen with the ears or follow after words. Although the precious jewel is in one's own hand, one relies on others to seek it, and one will not find the meaning of the Dharma. In the immaculate Dharmakaya, washing does not cleanse it, like the sky. In the essence that is free from birth, there is no complete fruit of enlightenment. Vajrasattva's enlightenment is known by his own great awareness. Since self-awareness does not appear as many, although shown separately, it is in the state of one. The Sugata bodies appear as many, appearing as the nature of the five wisdoms, like the essence of the sun. O great Vajra Holder, those who do not abide in appearance are the immaculate wisdom body. That which appears manifestly without arrangement is the immaculate body of the Tathagata, appearing like the moon in water. That which is unarranged, without beginning or end, without direction or bias, without high or low, without wide or narrow, is the completely pure Buddha-field. That which is free from all the limits of desire is the food of one-pointed concentration. The immaculate wisdom body and the completely pure Buddha-field, which abide without gathering or separation in the three times, are excellent friends. Not abiding in the meaning of words and letters, but knowing the way of abiding in the ground, settling what is to be known, in the mountain pass of view, the meaning gathers in the realm, cutting off the dangers of hope and fear, the great self is thatness. Thus from the Excellent Heart Tantra, the realization of

Then, the Bhagavan Great Vajradhara, arising from the samadhi of clear Dharmata, dissolved into the great expanse of non-abiding, and said: O assembled hosts, listen to me! I am like the sky from the beginning. The nature of the sky has no substance. Obscurations do not dwell excessively. I am like the ocean from the beginning. The movement of existence is not there at all. I am like a mountain from the beginning. It abides without change in the three times. I am like the essence of the sun. The three kayas, the fruit, are spontaneously accomplished. I am like a lion from the beginning. The three talents are perfected in the body. I am like the Garuda, the king of birds. The view encompasses and cuts through the waves. O Vajra-holder, listen! You are still the cause of samsara. What need is there to mention the bodhisattvas who dwell on the earth and the gods, etc.? Why is it that the meaning of realization is carried on the path? I, awareness in the Dharmakaya, the great self-born wisdom, realization manifest, free from all seeking, transcending scripture, profound and subtle, difficult for others to fathom, subtle and without outflows, free from seeds, without dust and free from dust, without stain and abiding without mixture, with self-knowing wisdom without self, therefore free from all actions. Beyond speech, thought, and words, the mind of Vajrasattva. Clear and without self-nature, therefore free from the two, grasper and grasped. Transcending the limits of birth and death, therefore the Dharmata is great bliss. As it is, spontaneously perfect, therefore it abides pervading all. Essence perfected in itself, therefore free from the effort of meditation. Appearance without action, the expanse of Dharmata, great bliss. Qualities spontaneously perfect, pure from the beginning. Without color or shape, the realm beyond speech and thought. Free from all faults, the supreme beyond meditation. Unfabricated Dharmakaya, the bodhicitta of the ground of all. The nature of mind beyond expression, therefore, to be known, it cannot be heard by the ears. Because it arises from the realm, it cannot be spoken by the tongue. The great self-born one, free from the limits of words. Non-conceptual equality, the Dharmakaya. The beautiful Samantabhadra's body. Not grasped by grasping, the body of a moon in water. Arising from the expanse of the profound A. Beyond expression, the expanse of the profound A. The nature of A, free from the limits of elaboration. Non-conceptual equality,
