Rainbows intertwine like hair in the sky, immature inverted thoughts arise. The two co-emergent ones arise simultaneously, sentient beings arise from the Buddha himself. Thus it is said. Vajrasattva asks: Is the delusion of ignorance present or absent on the ground? After asking thus, wisdom reveals: Although the essence of meaning is without delusion, thoughts of grasping various things arise. For example, seeing a rope as a snake, the essence of the rope is not a snake, but due to causes and conditions and the object, it is seen as a snake. Thus it is said. Vajrasattva asks: The delusion of ignorance, what is its nature? It is revealed: Its nature is sudden. For example, on a clear mirror, whatever is shown, that cause will surely appear. Similarly, in the self-illuminating Dharma-nature, the appearance of wisdom is sudden. The appearance of self, other, and dual appearances is obscured by the delusion of self-grasping, and grasping appears as multiple selves. Dharma-nature is like the sky, sudden images are obscured by clouds. Dharma-nature is like flowing water, obscured by the object of sudden thoughts. When habits are inverted and illusions arise, it is like a stump appearing as a person. The stump itself is not a person, but why is it seen as a person? If the stump itself were a person, why would the truthful ones not see it? When causes and conditions are deluded and appearances arise, they are subdued by various truths. Thus it is said. From the Secret Wisdom Wheel, the second chapter on explaining the delusion of ignorance. Vajrasattva asks: The delusion of ignorance, what is its manner of cessation? The King of All Wisdom reveals: The manner of cessation of ignorance is that the appearance without affirmation or negation, the object of the target, ceases from causes and conditions. The self-illuminating, non-grasping Dharma-nature ceases from the cause of thought. Grasping is self-liberated and pure, ceasing from the object of simultaneous delusion. Without sequence, complete all at once, ceasing from the extremes of cause and effect. The intention, self-nature, is meaningful, ceasing from subtle dharmas of fabrication. The determined, single vehicle is equal, ceasing from the extremes of the eight self-desires. Vast and without partiality, ceasing from the extremes of the two self-desires. Conceptual thoughts arise in the mind

Bha. Directly cut off the self-arisen awareness. What attachment is there to the causes of habits? Return with the nature of non-attachment, non-action, and freedom from elaboration. With the great medicine of ungrasping and self-arisenness, Return from the chronic disease and illness of samsara. Thus it was said. From the Secret Wheel of Wisdom, The chapter on how to reverse delusion, the third. Then, the King of Awareness spoke this view of pure self-arisenness. In the expanse of equality and purity, The wisdom beyond extremes is spontaneously accomplished. Having realized the self-arisenness without cause or condition, It is not a dharma that arises from elsewhere. Accomplishment and bliss arise within oneself. As wisdom abides as it is, There is no application of effortful cause and effect. All the vehicles of gradual effort of mind, Are taught for the sake of guidance. Even if stirred by clinging and conceptualization, The nature of self-arisenness is not stirred. The dharma of the view without distinction or clarity, Is the nature beyond cause and effect. Since it abides from the beginning, there is no need to do anything. Self-arisenness is needed without conditions or interruption. The unceasing nature is greatly complete. With the great body of effortless self-arisenness, All natures are definitely determined. Therefore, the scripture of effortless awareness, If it does not accord with the meaning in a gathering, Is like a parrot speaking human language. It is not endowed with defilement. It shows the essence of the meaning of the heart. Liberated from the realm of clinging to words and sounds, If one possesses the confidence of self-realization, It is the characteristic of a trustworthy spiritual friend. Therefore, I am in accord with the teachings. Thus it was said. From the Secret Wheel of Wisdom, The chapter on the view, the fourth. Then, the King of Awareness, To Vajrasattva, spoke this self-abiding samadhi. Without effort, self-appearing, uncorrected, Wisdom spontaneously accomplished abides in its nature. In the uncorrected state of mind itself, Various appearances arise, but there is no clinging. Without meditation, there is no focusing on the meaning. In the equality of self-arisen non-thought, The imputation of clinging is naturally absent. Desiring liberation by meditating on something other with the mind, Is like trying to unlock iron shackles with clinging mind. The naked nature of reality arises immediately. The equal mind of self-arisen wisdom. The indestructible, effortless, self-arisen clarity. Whatever conceptualization or clinging arises, Self-abiding, free from thought, is itself bliss. The movement of conceptual thought itself, Is known as the closing of the door of the mind. Awareness is uninterrupted in the three times. Like the example of a flowing stream.
