La! How does the self-aware wisdom of a yogi appear? There is no name or basis for imputation. Being free from a basis for imputation is the supreme meaning. Equanimity, self-clarity, is the expanse of wisdom. There is no establishment in appearance itself. Self-aware emptiness is unmoving. In that, non-effort is the supreme yoga. Whatever appears to the senses, without conceptualization, how does it appear? It is free from a basis for imputation. Without appearance, unceasing, how does one not think? Because there is no antidote, it is free from effort. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the Self-Arising of the Wisdom of Kuntuzangpo, the Sixth Chapter: The Chapter on Remaining in Equanimity. Then again, the Bhagavan, the King of Wisdom, Kuntuzangpo, said this to Vajrasattva: Listen, Vajrasattva! After the senses are excellent and the meaning is perfected, listen to the meaning explained for those of middling and inferior faculties. The Dharmakaya is single, without substance or characteristics. If you want to seek the Dharmakaya without substance, for example, a dog thief in a village, even if he searches for an empty house with nothing in it, he will not find what he wants, and after becoming exhausted, he will lie down again in disgust. How does the self-aware wisdom of a yogi arise? Without rejecting the senses, look inward. Examine whatever appears and look at its owner. Whatever grasping and apprehended arise, there is no root. Look inward and seek the one who looks. Having sought, nothing is found. Nothing is seen anywhere, and no name is given. There is no trace, like the path of a bird in the sky. Without appearance, naturally arising, like the sky. Abiding in that is the supreme of fruits. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the Self-Arising of the Wisdom of Kuntuzangpo, the Seventh Chapter: The Chapter on Seeking Without Trace. Then the King of Wisdom, Kuntuzangpo, said to Vajrasattva: The Dharmakaya has no object of focus from the beginning. If you want the meaning of having no object of focus, for example, those with eye diseases look at any object from a distance and examine whether it is true or not. After examining, the object of focus becomes blurred, like a fool who does not know what he sees. Whatever yogi looks intently at the form of any substance and does not let go, he gives birth to blindness without memory or grasping. If he does not let go and prolongs it, wisdom arises. Wisdom is equal to space, like the sky. Without memory, utterly foolish. Without experience, experience arises, and memory and wisdom cease. The object of focus remains on the path without trace. One obtains the Dharmakaya of great equanimity. Thus it is said. From the Wisdom of Kuntu

From the Tantra of the Manifestation of One's Own Wisdom: The Eighth Chapter, the Chapter on No Object. Then, the King of Awareness, Samantabhadra, spoke to Vajrasattva: For example, even though the great garuda does not exert effort, effort relies on the support of mere intention. If you wish to attain wisdom without support, for example, if a new dog is tied with a leash, it turns wherever it does not go. On any sign or signless with an object, entrust your mind without distraction. Until you are familiar, examine it. When you are familiar and the object is clear, if you can bring out subtle power, the lama who is confident, the meaning of the spontaneously accomplished intention of Kunsang (Samantabhadra), if the prophecy is given at that very time, through the oral instruction that passes through the ear, self-born wisdom will arise from its own power. Signs with and without signs are liberated in their own place. It is like a great garuda soaring in the sky. If you do not understand it that way, without thought, any small sign or object that suits your mind, by looking, you know, and by examining, you know. By meditating, you know, and by analyzing, you know. By dissecting, you know, and by suppressing, you know. Six oral instructions of common methods. Meditate on many and meditate on yourself. By relying on the one with signs, signless wisdom arises from its own power. By relying on the contaminated, uncontaminated great bliss arises from its own power. Thus it was said. From the Tantra of the Manifestation of One's Own Wisdom of Samantabhadra: The Ninth Chapter, the Chapter on Tethers. Then, the Bhagavan, the King of Awareness, Samantabhadra, spoke to Vajrasattva: The display of awareness is threefold: self-born, conceptual appearance, and non-duality. Like the sun rising in the sky, birds flying, monkeys playing, it appears like water and milk mixed together. Concealing, revealing, and exposing are threefold: not knowing one's own place, obscured by objects. The three that are non-dual, like a blind person, opening the eyes, a mirror, and like a jewel emerging from mud. The nature of reality, transparent, is threefold: self-nature, power, and non-duality. Like a lodestone, an elephant, and a crystal. The three encounters of the nature of reality are the three themselves: self-born, condition, and non-duality. Like a jewel, a golden island, a person who knows treasure. It appears like a sword with many edges. The three that are placed are the three themselves: the way things are, the fruit, and the path. Like the sky and the ocean, and like a wise person who has given up activities. Searching for the traceless ones
