My four obscurations are purified from Ka to Da, the Dharma-nature is without characteristics and free from elaboration. The characteristics of the four elements are purified from Ka to Da, the Dharma-nature is without arising. The characteristic of earth is purified from Ka to Da, the Dharma-nature is primordially pure. The characteristic of water is purified from Ka to Da, the Dharma-nature is self-luminous great clarity. The characteristic of fire is purified from Ka to Da, the Dharma-nature is unmoving and unobstructed. The characteristic of wind is purified from Ka to Da, the Dharma-nature of cessation is the original space. The characteristic of space is purified from Ka to Da, the Dharma-nature is the great ocean of primordial purity. The characteristic of the dust of the five elements is purified from Ka to Da, the Dharma-nature is colorless and self-luminous. The color of the habitual imprints of the four elements is purified from Ka to Da, the way the Dharma-nature abides in its primordial purity is: Although the qualities and characteristics are beyond number, the way the Dharma-nature abides in its meaning is as follows: That which is without substance, free from elaboration, pure, clear, and transparent, is the basis for the arising of all insubstantial phenomena. Like pure water and a pure mirror, the appearance of the three types of subtle and coarse impurities is also, The Dharma-nature, characteristics, original nature, the five elements, the characteristics of awareness are originally the five elements. Because that nature is the same, it is the light of precious jewels, within those five, it is clear in that way from that. Because those three are the same, power increases and appears coarse, when one fights with another, impurities appear subtle. In the pure space, the radiance of the upper rises, in the nature of Dharma-nature, it appears as the habitual imprint of obscuration. Because the qualities are the same, light appears subtle and coarse, although the meaning is obscured by looking from the outside with conceptual thoughts, It is not a Dharma that depends on others and changes, emptiness is gradually clear and abides in the essence. Like a butter lamp inside a vase, clear and without a wavering mind. The appearance of the eight consciousnesses as Dharmas is also, by the characteristics of the self-aware five elements, From the space of each direction, the wind of wisdom, moved by the five elements without breath, The five appearances of the arising of wisdom wind, the five lights arise in the manner of rays. In the nature of Dharma-nature, there is light, that is self-born wisdom, All habitual imprints are fully ripened, born from the five elemental mothers. At that time, the appearance of the five gates is, the light of wisdom, precious jewels. The subtle and coarse impurities of the eight consciousnesses, cannot be purified by removing and abandoning, By the two methods of generating wisdom, by removing the cataract of ignorance, By opening the eye of clear wisdom, it appears in the face of immaculate primordial purity. Those ways of appearing are light, the order of that is shown as above. From the moment of grasping from an instant, by that.

The transformation of defilements into self-purification. Thus it was said. From the great purity of stainlessness, the third chapter, which reveals the luminosity of the primordial purity of awareness, the precious one. Then, again, the Lord of Secrets asked: "Alas, alas, Bhagavan, Transcender of Extremes! How is the Dharmakaya pure from the beginning? By what do the subtle and coarse defilements appear? What has been taught as the means of purification? Please speak to the assembled gathering." Thus he asked. The perfectly complete and glorious one, the Blood-Drinking King, gave the teaching: "Listen, all you Vajra-holders and others! The Dharmakaya is pure from the beginning in this way. The Dharmakaya is stainless, pure, and clear. The subtle and coarse objects of grasping are pure from the beginning. Awareness is stainless and self-luminous. The subtle and coarse subjects of grasping are pure from the beginning. Therefore, it is non-dual and all-pervading. Dualistic appearances and clinging to them are pure from the beginning. In the essence of stainless Dharmata, because awareness is stainless and self-luminous, the defilement of nihilism is pure from the beginning. Awareness is stainless, empty, and luminous. Because Dharmata is stainless, empty, and luminous, and sealed with non-duality, the defilement of eternalism is pure from the beginning. All defilements similar to these, though not removed, are primordially pure. However, the way of abiding, the essence, and the reality are: In the heart of stainless space, the essence of non-conceptual awareness arises, empty and luminous, inseparable and self-luminous. Its own radiance is unceasing and without characteristics. Because it does not cease through the door of compassion, the unchanging one is the great essence of earth. The stainless, all-encompassing one is the great essence of water. Grasping and clinging are the great essence of fire, without thought. Is it in the realm? The unobstructed one in duality is the great essence of wind. Self-luminous and unceasing is the great essence of space. The arising is the Dharmakaya, the essence of myself. The sole awareness is unchanging and spontaneously accomplished. Like the sun rising in the unobstructed sky, awareness abides unchanging in the realm of Dharmata. The appearance of subtle and coarse defilements also appears as the unchanging, luminous, and coarse appearance. The five lights radiate from the unreal and free from elaboration. By the power of that itself, it is extremely subtle. The qualities and appearances are not truly known. The defilements of grasping and clinging are caused by that. Therefore, stainlessness is luminosity. As a means of purification, there are symbols and words. Symbols indicate, and words express. By realizing the two aspects of essence and appearance, the Dharmakaya is stainless and primordially pure. In the stainless and pure sky, the stainless and primordially pure nature arises. From the four all-pervading secret doors, the unobstructed wisdom eyes are three. The precious light has three subtle and coarse aspects. Not
