Appearing as countless retinues such as Ati, and abiding in a skillful manner. Thus, from the secret tantra of the Pearl Garland, the first chapter is the introduction. Then, the Bhagavan, the spontaneously accomplished delusion, the lord of all purified causes of delusion, the wrathful deities of the three families, such as the collector, the lord of secrets, requested thus: Calling from the perspective of essence, O Bhagavan, the body free from delusion! Sentient beings of the three realms of samsara, if delusion is reversed from the essence, how will it be reversed into the self-purified ground? Please bestow your teachings upon us. Then, the Bhagavan Vajrasattva spoke to his close retinue: Listen, O Lord of Secrets! Although there is no delusion in the original ground, the essence of primordial purity, sentient beings' minds are deluded into the self-purified ground. That is, the wisdom of awareness arises as self-appearance. If the essence of the sacred instructions touches the meaning, then, since there has never been delusion from the beginning, it is reversed to the original ground of delusion. Self-awareness and wisdom are difficult to realize, and have not become the object of the mind. On the ground, the essence of awareness is condensed into the essence, which is non-conceptual. In the bardo, delusion is the means of cutting flesh and blood on one's own essence. Ignorance and samsara have passed away, and are chased into wisdom in self-purification. In the lineage, always look to self-liberation in self-awareness. Whatever appears is released into the expanse of the various appearances of awareness. At the edge of the first self-awareness, abide in the essence of primordial purity. Ignorance is the cause, and because of the oneness of self-nature, it is cut off from the root. The appearance of wisdom, looking at the appearance, arises from the eye in direct perception. Delusion is primordially pure, and if it is reversed, it is reversed to the mother. The appearance of wisdom appears as a child in the bardo. Cutting off the root of the mind, the difference between mind and wisdom is the expanse of wisdom. Tracing the root of ignorance, ignorance is the self-purified lineage. Cutting off the flow of the five senses, grasping is clear wisdom in self-liberation. Opening the vision of awareness, emptiness and clarity become an inseparable appearance. Deluded appearance is self-purifying, removing the object, awareness is self-pure in primordial purity. Mind is self-pure, cutting off the flow of memory, in the state of dharmakaya. Removing the general appearance of samsara, the three bodies abide clearly in self-perfection. Emptiness returns from non-existence, adorned with clarity. The five poisons are self-liberated into the five wisdoms, summarized as the essence, which is the state of medicine. By showing samsara and nirvana, the cause of darkness is exhausted, which is the lamp itself. The delusional

Since there is fundamentally no cause, exhaustive wisdom is the companion. In the state of the indivisible, luminous, blazing body, the five lights are not separate activities. Substance and awareness are indivisible; samsara is self-purified into Buddhahood. The wisdom of meaning, awareness, is self-purified, returning to the ground. Ultimate and relative, free from elaboration, the various appearances are indivisible. Ema, listen, King Hayagriva! The wisdom that cannot be found by thought, the place of the mind having been extracted, The unimproved, unadulterated manifestation of mind, without an object of conditioned appearance, is instantaneous. The essence of the place of reversion, where delusion reverts to itself, is: In a continuous stream, all awareness is self-purified into Buddhahood. In the mandala of the realm without memory or mind, Freed from conceptual grasping, the great lineage of awareness itself is clear. Whatever appearances of memory and mind there are, Are held as the cause of great delusion, as self. In the sky of awakened memory, free from action and agent, That very delusion should be reversed with the three views. On the appearance of the arising of the nature of the nature of reality, Whatever objects of appearance, various thoughts of mind, are, Since appearance is the basis of delusion, the cause of delusion, ignorance, and samsara, On the self-awareness of thoughtlessness, With the eye of meaning, that itself should be reversed. On the appearance of the continuous stream of the nature of body and wisdom, Whatever grasping conceptions are free from mind, Since that itself is the object of appearance in this way of delusion, With the self-nature of the wisdom that realizes, Examine and look at the self-appearing realm as awareness self-purified. The root of all phenomena of samsara and nirvana Is not other than memory and awareness. Alas, listen, King Yama! Self-aware wisdom, together with its own radiance, is blazing. The king of self-aware realization, the unsurpassed essence, is primordially pure. The lamp of the utterly pure expanse and the body of the continuous stream. Familiarity. Since it is practiced without distraction from that, It is shown as the great constant realization. All appearances to the mind that remembers, Look to the continuous stream of the body of the king of awareness and wisdom, spontaneously arisen from mind. Awareness is immutable; it is unchanging; the five wisdom bodies. Primordially free from elaboration, self-luminous, it frolics in the realm of the nature of reality. Abiding in the realm of the emptiness of the nature of reality, Unmoving, on the wisdom that transcends the object of emptiness itself, The appearance of the body, the essence is immutable, inconceivable.
