The assembled retinue brought forth the radiance of joyful hearts. With initial reverence, they bowed their bodies and, without uttering a word, remained in a state of equipoise, saying, "Please ask for whatever you desire." Then, the chief of the lineage, the great Bodhisattva, requested, "O venerable and primordial Buddha, please reveal to us the teachings, teachers, retinue, places, and times of the past, future, and present." The primordial Buddha spoke, "The primordial teaching that first arose is unceasing in all appearances and existences. Its subsequent teachings are the sutras, vinaya, and abhidharma. Its life-sustaining teaching is this very jewel lamp. The primordial teacher that first arose is self-born and without obscuration. Its subsequent teaching is the teacher Samantabhadra. Its life-sustaining teaching is the emanation born of karmic connection. The primordial retinue teaching that first arose is non-ceasing, non-obscuring, and non-dual. Its subsequent retinue teaching is you, Vajra Bodhisattva. Its subsequent, its life-sustaining retinue, are those endowed with fortune and karmic connection. The primordial place teaching that first arose is the wisdom palace without obscuration. Its subsequent place teaching is the palace of the god Samantabhadra. Its life-sustaining place teaching, from the source of Dharma of Darmo Darya, all activities arise from the triangular A (藏文:ཨེ,梵文天城体:ऐ,梵文罗马拟音:ai,汉语字面意思:唉), spoken in the bhaga palace. The primordial time teaching that first arose is without differentiation of the three times. All is shown as one great moment. Its subsequent time teaching is the time when all Buddhas and sentient beings, and good and bad illusions, arise. At that time, the life-sustaining time teaching is when liberation wisdom dawns on the nature of the one lineage. If there were no primordial arising, there would be no beginning. If there were no subsequent, there would be no end. If there were no life-sustaining, the lineage would also be cut off." Thus he spoke. From the Tantra of the Blazing Jewel Lamp, the first chapter, which discusses the basis and the questions. Then, the chief of the lineage, the great Bodhisattva, requested, "O venerable and primordial Buddha, please reveal to us the general state of the nature of reality before it has arisen or been born." The primordial Buddha spoke, "Chief of the lineage, listen, that general state of the nature of reality is

It is not in any way of being, it is not color, shape, or number, it is not male, female, or neuter, nor is it form, it is like the center of the sky. That which is the universally abiding nature of reality, from the upper mandala of the victorious ones to the lower fiercely blazing iron mountain, cannot be divided or dissected, it is like sesame seeds and oil. The way to realize it is to realize each quality separately, and to realize it as emptiness because it is beyond thought and expression. The example of non-realization, wrong realization, and partial realization is like many blind people judging an elephant. The way to ascertain it is that in all appearances, existence, samsara, and nirvana, it is the nature of great pervasiveness, like the sun rising in the sky. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the Precious Lamp Flame, the second chapter: showing the general state and nature of reality, and the way to ascertain it. Then, the great Bodhisattva, chief of the lineage, arose from among the assembly and asked: O Supreme Primordial Buddha, what are the qualities of the nature of reality itself? Please reveal them to us. The Supreme Primordial Buddha said: Listen, great Bodhisattva, chief of the lineage! The nature of reality itself is the unique one, separate from all, it is liberation without abandoning anything, appearance is unceasing, its nature is non-dual, it is completely perfect without being mixed with appearance, it is the confidence of view without fear, it is the confidence of samadhi without fixation, it is the confidence of conduct without acceptance or rejection, it is the confidence of the result without abandonment or attainment, it is the king of all tantras, it is the general commentary on all scriptures, it is the definitive meaning of all instructions, it is the innermost essence of all intentions, it is the supreme peak of all vehicles, it is the heart essence of all teachings, it is the source of all vehicles, it is the ultimate end of all results, it is the father of the Buddhas of the three times, the mother who gives birth to Bodhisattvas, the sun of reasoning, the grandfather of all dharmas, the very essence of the command, the conclusion of all meanings, the dispeller of the darkness of all ignorance, the antidote to all wrong views, the command door of all secret mantras without exception, it is greater than greatness.

More secret than secret! From the Tantra of the Blazing Jewel Lamp, the third chapter: Showing the qualities of the nature of reality by its own nature. Then, the great Bodhisattva, lord of the lineage, asked: Alas! First Holy Buddha! In the nature of reality itself, Are there or are there not wrong thoughts and characteristics? Does it exist continuously or in segments? Can it be counted as a number of types? Does dualistic consciousness enter or not enter? Has it gone or not gone to the extreme of elaboration? Is there or is there not division and exploitation? To us, all the assembly of attendants, Please proclaim it like the words of Brahma. The First Holy One said: Listen, great Bodhisattva, lord of the lineage! In the nature of reality itself, There are no wrong thoughts or characteristics. Just as in the nature of space, When southern clouds are scattered by the wind, And the essence of the sun arises, It dwells in the nature of clarity and purity. That nature of reality itself, Does not exist continuously or in segments. Just like a great river, It exists continuously in the three times. That nature of reality itself, Is beyond the number of types, It exists like the center of pure space. In the nature of reality itself, Dualistic consciousness does not enter, It is like a pond in the ocean of non-duality. In the nature of reality itself, It is completely separated from the extreme of elaboration, It dwells in the nature of great non-elaboration. In the nature of reality itself, There is no division or exploitation, Just like the precious golden island. Thus he spoke. From the Tantra of the Blazing Jewel Lamp, the fourth chapter: Establishing a great boundary marker at the boundary between samsara and nirvana. Then, the great Bodhisattva, lord of the lineage, asked: In the nature of reality itself, Like the rays of the sun spreading out, Awareness pervades without inner or outer. Inwardly, knowing the awareness of self as non-existent, Outwardly, knowing the awareness of others as non-existent. Since it does not hold objects and mind as types, Therefore there are no appearances of objects whatsoever. There is no appearance of consciousness entering inward. There are four measures of realization in that: Since wisdom arises without bias, there is neither abandoning nor accomplishing. There is neither accepting nor rejecting. There is neither letting go nor holding. In the single nature of the continuum of awareness, What are those measures of realization? asked. The First Holy Buddha said: Wrathful lord of the lineage, great Bodhisattva
