Therefore, the wise should keep in mind this path of the sage, like a hermit. Regarding rising and not rising, one should not intentionally abandon or eliminate, and the teachings of the six teachers should also be regarded as essential. Not meditating on anything, not moving the three places, not taking any support, that itself is the path of the sage. Other than this, there is no path to Buddhahood, this is the great footprint, the path of bliss for all the victorious ones. From the chapter on cultivating the mind of enlightenment, the fifteenth section explaining the cause of the sages' accomplishment. Then, the Lord of Secrets, Vajrapani, asked the Blessed One, "Blessed One, what is the meaning of the most profound?" The Blessed One replied, "The realm and abode of all noble ones, and the path of transcendence, etc., there is no other. In order for all to perceive, this supreme essence pervades all. The most secret Dharma nature, profound and unfathomable, is without any appearance. It does not appear to anything, it does not fixate on anything, that is the nature of suchness. Lord of Secrets, the realm of suchness itself is the dominion, the state of compassion. In this, whatever supreme great state of unsurpassed swiftness is attained. Other than the nature of mind, there is nothing else, and there is nothing superior to the victorious ones. Even if a firefly blazes in the sky, it can only be compared to lightning. Other vehicles, though highly praised, cannot compare to this supreme vehicle. Although the essence of meaning is not other, this true path of liberation arises from non-conceptualization. Inconceivable, inexpressible, the mind of the victorious ones is the state of wisdom and compassion. In this, whatever supreme great state of unsurpassed swiftness is attained. Not meditating on anything, where is there anything to meditate on in this? For it is free from the object of grasping. Because it cannot be fixated upon or conceived, the ear cannot hear it, and the tongue cannot speak it. Solitude of place, solitude of mind, solitude of abode, solitude of body, grasped by connection. Like the supreme king of scriptures, like the precious jewel, the all-ground, there is not even a particle of fixation on this, therefore it is the supreme essence. The universally equal, clear bindu, the clear lamp, the body that holds all appearances. The great expanse arising from the three doors of liberation, this is the supreme body. Like the king of medicine in the realm of practice, the master who heals diseases. The characteristic of the vehicle, the extremely profound difference, this very great path of transformation is

The supreme physician who heals the diseases of all beings! This profound and sublime body of the all-encompassing, all-arising, and blazing bindu, abides without any object of focus. From where else can one seek a Buddha's enlightenment that is more profound than this? This Samadhi of equanimity, which completely encompasses all perceptions, is the most wondrous of all. This supremely marvelous and universally praised state is the ultimate perfection. This ultimate perfection, the essence of vastness, free from action, is not something to be meditated upon. Anyone who desires to find the essence of enlightenment elsewhere than in this is mistaken from the very beginning. It is complete, it is complete, in this completeness, everything is completely fulfilled. There is no Dharma more profound than this. This is the sixteenth chapter of the tantra on cultivating the mind of enlightenment, which reveals the most profound instructions. Then, when the Bhagavan had attained complete certainty and was abiding in that state, the lord of secrets, Vajrapani, spoke these words: Bhagavan, where are you going, and what is there to abandon? Thus he asked the Bhagavan. The Bhagavan replied: From the vast expanse of the pure, objectless space, the wondrous, illusory wisdom, blazing with light, is clear to all. This supremely marvelous, wondrous, and extraordinary place is the greatest wonder of all. One's own pure mind is the realm of all, the source of all beings. From the objectless realm, let the objectless awareness go into its own peace. In the all-encompassing mind, place the all-arising awareness upon its source. In the expanse of the all-pervading space of the Mother, drive the stake of the mind firmly into the ground and let it abide. When it moves, bind it tightly and do not let it arise. If it arises, then examine the characteristics of the hole in the expanse of space. Having examined the characteristics and seen them, stir up the depths of the hole. Having stirred it well, do not open it from above again, but let it remain in the depths. Having seen that depth, even the victorious Buddhas conquer the armies of Mara. The victorious ones do not go anywhere else to become Buddhas; they abide in that very reality. That is the place where the righteous yogis go. Thus, having seen the pure depths of the Mother's space, what is there to abandon of all that exists in this world? It is in the state of Samantabhadra. If all is known in this way, then it is the meditation of
