Na. The means of guiding the six realms of beings towards the right path, I beseech you, omniscient one, to speak. Having thus beseeched, The great Lord of Secrets spoke: All sentient beings of the six realms, Since beginningless time, have not understood the meaning. Thoughts arise in confusion, each appearing separately. Based on that, the mind of attachment arises, Searching, establishing, and determining everything. Due to attachment, they experience suffering individually. The method of liberation from that suffering, Through the pith instructions that destroy both the outer world and inner beings, It explains the method of liberation from that meaning. Cutting off the root of delusion completely, And the pith instructions falling upon the essential points, And indicating the essence with illustrative examples, And explaining the two distinctions, And grasping the five bodies through recognition, And explaining the difference between symbolic meanings, And through the stages of explaining one's own lineage, And the distinction of the order of refutations, And combining the pith instructions with the meaning, And explaining the method of teaching in stages, And through the stages of explaining the oral transmission, It explains the method of attaining that very thing. The difference between necessity and connection, And the greatness of the lineage of qualities, And especially the manner of the greatness of the name. And the realization without desire, And because it is not anything, The wisdom self-nature has no clarity or obscurity. Free from the deluded mind that depends on conditions, The delusion of body and speech is naturally pacified, No thought arises towards the dharma of cause, No thought changes from the Great Vehicle, Through realization, actions are naturally abandoned, It is being free from virtuous and non-virtuous thoughts. In essence, there is nothing established, The essence of emptiness wisdom itself. The nature of being uncorrected and unadulterated, Without movement, without grasping, free from conceptualization. The very nature of being free from the two extremes of appearance and emptiness, There is no experience or awareness of delusion, Immutable, free from conditions. The nature of equality between Buddha and 446 sentient beings, The vast expanse without beginning or end, The characteristic awareness is inconceivable, The body also remains in that way, Each deluded according to their own desires, Remaining like a stream of water. Cut off its root and determine it, The basis of everything is the nature of equality, Having one lineage with reversion. Without before or after, unified in the dharmadhatu, The uncreated essence is the basis of everything, It is the great treasury of precious jewels, Not born from cause, free from conditions, Such is the indescribable bodhicitta, Without movement, no memory arises, No calculation is made in the state of emptiness, Like the sky, without beginning or end, Remaining naturally in the essence itself, Nya.

Like the moon, it has no waxing or waning. It is free from bias and is the pinnacle of all vehicles. It is the great source of all that arises. It is the master of all tantras. It is the wish-fulfilling jewel that brings forth all desires. It is the essence of the hearts of the Buddhas of the three times. Its wisdom is vast and inconceivable. It is the supreme intention of the Buddhas of the three times. This very thought of the senses, if it does not move, is itself. Awareness is unforgetting and does not need to be cultivated. It does not follow after thoughts. In the mandala of space and rainbows, entering without attachment is naturally blissful. The self-empowered king has great realization. It does not deviate from the meaning and is unparalleled. It is the supreme means of accomplishing the very heart of the Buddha. It is the great meaning of desireless realization. Uncontrived, relinquished, it accords with the meaning. Abiding in this detachment is the good fortune of a great yogi. The delusions of body and speech naturally subside. It does not grasp at the extremes of conditioned appearances. Non-doing, non-discrimination, is itself equality. Self-abiding, self-nature is the great meaning. Because there is no basis, it is free from experience. Likewise, the power of the tongue also cannot express the true meaning in words. The nature of appearances is emptiness. Resting without searching is itself bliss. Appearance and emptiness are without division. It does not abide in the extremes of permanence and annihilation. The deluded nature of the six realms and the true intention of the Victorious Ones, in the time of equality, there is no good or bad. The appearance of ordinary mind and the wisdom of self-appearance of the realized one, one obscures and one arises, the two do not exist, like the example of gold and yellow. Unborn, without thought, free from action, unchanging, the supreme of no coming and going. Thus it is said. From the Secret General Tantra, the first chapter, the introduction. Then, Vajrasattva asked the Great Secret Lord: The introduction spoken by the Teacher is thus, from where do sound and letters arise? The Teacher, the Great Secret Lord, said: The chief of letters is without birth. Then 448 branches arise, becoming the cause of letters. From that, the chief letter arises. From that, the auxiliary letter arises. In the body of a single letter, the seven necessary parts are complete. The head is the manifest guide to the path. The stem, the eyes, the four horses look below, and strokes also appear. The branch moves with strength. The branch raises its pace with strength. The head enters the path of meaning. The word is the name of wisdom.
