443༄༅། །In the language of India: Guhya Samaya Tantra Nama. In the Tibetan language: Called the Secret General Tantra. In the hearing record, it is called the Heart Essence Secret General Tantra. Homage to the Bhagavan, the Great Lord of Secrets! Thus I have heard, at the place of self-nature and self-appearance, the self-born teacher, the Great Lord of Secrets, surrounded by the three realms of retinue, established for the sake of the three teachings. Then, the teacher, the Great Lord of Secrets, specifically spoke this special statement: In the state where no accomplishment exists, the expression of names does not exist as an accomplishment. From the nature of the three appearances, it arises as the essence of the three teachers. In the field of those to be tamed, it appears separately, with the order of body, speech, and mind, each according to their own inclinations. Without letters, appearance, speech, and words, whatever desired fruit appears separately. The sentient beings dwelling in the three realms, because of the inability to cut off the cause and the wrong path, wander in the six realms of samsara. Because they have not touched, not realized, and not understood, they experience various sufferings for a long time. Thus he spoke. By the power of that speech, Vajrasattva from among the retinue asked the teacher the meaning of his question: How do we and the retinue understand the nature of the teacher? How are all sentient beings of the six realms confused from the beginning by not understanding? Is there a way to be liberated from that? He asked. The Great Lord of Secrets replied: The spontaneously accomplished body of equal nature, the wind that rises in the sky of wisdom, the essence of self-luminous jewels, the rays of light unceasingly appearing separately. The way of realization appears as seven appearances. The nature of appearance and those to be tamed, with the three ultimate fruits, arising from the mind with essence, free from all movements of memory and thought. Blissful self-appearance without clinging mind, the supreme of all vehicles, when all faculties and conditions do not appear, not clinging, not appearing, free from conditions. Like a mother, without artificiality or corruption, clear if there is no desire, without defilement or confusion, naturally pure, the nature of wisdom is naturally blissful. The essence of the three teachers, and all the Buddhas of the three times, their intention does not exceed this. Again he asked: The teacher's intention is thus
