Then, please teach us the la dza (ལ།བཟླ།) of these two. Thus he requested. Then, the Bhagavan again said: Ema, listen, Lord of Secrets. The view of true Dharmata is unique, without partiality or division. In the view of true Great Bliss, there is no duality of pure and impure. It transcends the realm of good and evil, there is no concept of yes and no, there is no mind of acceptance and rejection, and it is neither one nor many. It is the nature of a single bindu. Recognize ignorance as the nature of awareness, and recognize conceptual thought as the nature of Dharmata. The five poisons such as attachment and aversion are transformed into the five wisdoms, and the five objects are recognized as the five pure lights. Likewise, all phenomena are without pure and impure. This is from the Great Tantra of Self-Arisen Awareness, the twenty-ninth chapter on teaching the self-continuum of sentient beings. Then, the Lord of Secrets again said this: Emaho! Bhagavan, you are endowed with great compassion. Since the root of all sentient beings is like that, then what is the abiding state of the first ground? Please explain it to us who seek the ultimate meaning. Thus he requested. Then, the Bhagavan again said: Emaho! Vajrapani, listen. The first came from me. Before I existed, the ground abides like this: The ground is called Original Purity Great (ཀ་དག,kadag,Sanskrit: आदि विशुद्ध,ādi viśuddha, primordial purity), and the essence, nature, and compassion exist in three ways. The essence is the unchanging wisdom, which appears unceasingly, and is called the abiding state of the youthful vase body. The nature is the unceasing appearance of the five lights. The appearance of compassion is like a cloudless sky. This is called the abiding state of Original Purity, not falling into India, nor falling into any direction. Below it is the spontaneously accomplished jewel palace, in which there are three ways of appearing, and there are two doors. This is also called the spontaneously accomplished ground, also called the undetermined ground, and also called the ground appearing in various ways. Below it is the place of return. Below it is the great light of the ground. Below it is the appearance of the Sambhogakaya. Son of the lineage, please recognize the two lamps. Please practice with single-pointed samadhi. Please familiarize yourself with the two lamps. After practicing in this way, the appearance of wisdom will appear unhindered.

Therefore, one should always be accustomed to the appearance of wisdom. One should see the truth of oneself. One should grasp the measure of the warmth of awareness that arises in oneself. Know the wisdom of symbols! Thus, from the Great Tantra of Self-Arisen Awareness, the thirtieth chapter, which explains the establishment of the ground. Then, again, the Lord of Secrets and the retinues of humans and non-humans requested, saying: Kyema Ho! Great Teacher, for us, the devoted retinues, if the establishment of the ground is like that, then how is the way of realizing it oneself? Thus they asked. Then again, he taught: Listen, devoted retinues! I will teach the great meaning. Listen with a respectful mind! That realization also appears to be different for each individual. In the two, realization and non-realization, everything is contained. The Teacher, following the Dharma, taught in verses: Emaho! This precious jewel nectar, there is no way to find it by searching. In the mandala of the citta (Tibetan: ཙིཏྟ, Sanskrit Devanagari: citta, Sanskrit Romanization: citta, Literal meaning: mind) of all, it clearly appears as five lights in an unobstructed manner. The five immutable bodies of meaning abide. It shows that wisdom arises from the pervasive dhatu (Tibetan: དྷཱ་ཏུ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: dhātu, Sanskrit Romanization: dhātu, Literal meaning: realm), and that awareness and dhatu (Tibetan: དྷཱ་ཏུ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: dhātu, Sanskrit Romanization: dhātu, Literal meaning: realm) are inseparable, and that the expanse arises from the dhatu. From the first bhumi, the wisdom of all arises. The body of perfect bliss is attained. For all, the light, the five lights that appear to all sentient beings, naturally abide. That is also the appearance of light without desire. In the essence of kyi, my body has no increase or decrease, the vajra body of emptiness has no end. In the realm of dharmata, there is no appearance, it abides. Non-conceptual, completely pure dharmadhatu. That is also the dharmadhatu is completely pure, separated from the dharma of things, there is no appearance, it cannot be grasped, there is no mind in the object, there is no wisdom in the appearance, there is no mind in the lamp, there is no dharma in the mind. Unrivaled, unique. Perfect wisdom is separated from all directions, therefore the wisdom of emptiness does not appear as a thing, so knowing is the nature of awareness. There is nothing other than awareness itself, and awareness itself is also light. Light itself is also emptiness, it appears to awareness. That is also, all sentient beings abide in the center of the citta (Tibetan: ཙིཏྟ, Sanskrit Devanagari: citta, Sanskrit Romanization: citta, Literal meaning: mind). At the time of realizing the center, everything that appears appears as a body of light, the object and the senses cannot be grasped.
