O son with powerful strength! Dissolves into the state of unchanging equality, non-conceptual wisdom arises naturally! It is the great land of stacked bliss, like an unarranged pile of jewels, dissolves into various natural states. The grandfather of all Buddhas is universally known as the unchanging light. The seed of all Buddhas is universally known as mind-less awareness. The pure eyes of all Buddhas are known as the four lamps. The palace of all Buddhas is universally known as the center of citta. The path of all Buddhas is known as the three bardos. The place of conveyance for all Buddhas is the great mandala of primordial purity. Likewise, all Buddhas are also like that in their own continuums. Thus, from the Tantra of the Great Self-Arisen Awareness, the chapter on showing the way of realization is the thirty-first. Then, again, the Lord of Secrets requested as follows: Kye! Kye! Blessed One, pure body, if the realization of awareness is like that, please speak of the symbolic examples of awareness. Thus he requested. Then, again, the command was bestowed: Kye ma! Lord of Secrets, listen! In the space of pure wisdom, awareness of non-conceptual clarity dissolves. In the center of the empty space, like the dissolving of the sun's mandala. In the pure empty sky, the two lamps dissolve without obstruction. For example, in a great river, all the water droplets gather, likewise, in the center of the unborn space of awareness, the outer, inner, and secret dharmas gather. For example, in the mandala of a mirror, whatever is shown appears as it is, likewise, in the awareness of the empty sky, the appearance of the lamps is without cessation, abiding in a clear and bright state. Then again it was requested: Blessed One, endowed with great compassion, please speak of the symbolic examples of meaning. Thus the request was made. Then, again, the Lord of Compassion bestowed the command: O friends, listen! The suchness of all dharmas will be symbolized by examples. Therein, the intention of the perfectly complete Buddha is: the support is based on the aggregate of form, like lying in a bird's nest. The place is abiding in the heart, like the body of a vase. The path arises from the four channels, like a string of pearls. The coil is coiled inside the white conch shell, like a lamp inside a vase.

O! The door arises from the eye. The lamp of the empty thigle is like the eye of a peacock feather. The lamp of the expanse of awareness is like the letter "naro". The place is empty space. The time is the appearance of the bardo. It is like the mandala of a mirror. The place to go is the precious body, like a rugged path. The place of liberation is the appearance of primordial purity, like the body of a vase. Then he asked again: Alas! Alas! Possessing great compassion, please tell us the metaphor for how wisdom merges. So he asked. Then he taught again: O friends! In the spontaneous appearance, when one's own nature becomes power and one sees the truth, one must know the eight ways of merging. That is, compassion merges into compassion, like the rays of the setting sun. Wisdom merges into wisdom, like a child entering its mother's lap. Light merges into light, like a rainbow disappearing into the sky. Body merges into body, like the body of a vase. Non-duality merges into non-duality, like a river merging into a river. Liberation from extremes merges into liberation from extremes, like space merging into space. The door of pure wisdom, the essence of primordial purity, merges into primordial purity, like a lion seizing snow. The door of impure samsara merges into the door of pure wisdom, like gathering up the ropes of a tent. These metaphors symbolize great meaning. This is from the Great Tantra of Self-Arisen Awareness, the thirty-second chapter, the chapter of metaphors. Then the Lord of Secrets again prayed thus: Alas! Alas! Bhagavan, possessing great compassion, since the metaphors of reason are like this, please teach whether there is grasping or not in the wisdom that arises without time. So he asked. Then he taught again: Ah! Great Lord of Secrets, listen carefully! Keep well in mind what I have taught. Without grasping, without birth, liberated in its own place. Without thought, equality, the Dharmakaya. Unreachable by grasping, like the moon in water. Like a snake's knot. Self-born, self-liberated, great! Without grasping, the Vajra Essence Body. Undestroyed by conditions, possessing strength and hardness. Grasping is liberated in its own place, in the sky where the mind has not moved, clear and bright light.
