Thus it is: Wisdom and intelligence operate within the mind's nature. The form of the body manifests from the expanse of the heart. Like the moon in water in a mirror. Without attachment or clinging, it is naturally liberated. Emptiness is self-manifest, without existence in objects. The gateway for appearances in objects is twofold. Through the gateway of desire, the power of wisdom arises. Through the gateway of wisdom, the body and wisdom manifest. Undifferentiated wisdom arises, abiding in the ground. Once recognition and realization are attained, the five unfailing and certain appearances manifest. Wisdom moves and departs into the sky. The dharmadhatu, free from elaboration, is to be known within recognition. This is how the teachings are shown. The cause that is bestowed is inherently within oneself. The object that is bestowed is the five appearances. The condition that is bestowed is the five lights. The result that is bestowed is seeing the truth. The qualities that are bestowed are inconceivable. Appearances and objects manifest non-dually. The first truth is exceedingly joyful. The wisdom of the second truth's method increases. The third truth merges into the dharmadhatu. The method of the fourth truth is emptiness in various ways. The fifth truth is clear in the sky. The sixth truth revolves in the dharmadhatu. The seventh truth is without obscuration. The eighth truth is without attachment. That itself possesses the ninth truth. In the tenth truth, the four extremes are clear. The eleventh truth is liberated in the Dharma. The twelfth truth abandons defilements. The thirteenth, the wisdom truth is seen. The fourteenth truth, that very nature is attained. The fifteenth truth is truly known. The sixteenth truth is realization itself. The seventeenth truth, that very body is attained. The eighteenth truth, the mandala is attained. The nineteenth truth, the assembly of deities is seen. The twentieth truth possesses measure. The twenty-first truth moves in the sky. Then, Avalokiteśvara, the powerful one, spoke thus: "O, O, Lion of Speech, you who possess reason! Mañjuśrī, the true intention, is it apart from the Dharma with characteristics, or is it in the absence of characteristics? Or does it rely on a single mandala? Thus, what does it symbolize? Is it established by relying on the scriptures, or does it rely on valid reasoning? Thus, can the oral instructions be relied upon, or does it rely on oneself? Thus, on what does it rely? Please decide and speak on the great meaning." Thus he asked the question. Then, Mañjuśrī, the Lion of Speech, the holy being, spoke thus: "Kyeho! Excellent!"

Questions and answers come in pairs. Because of the question, I will give an answer. Then the powerful one said: Alas! Manjushri, young one! Is there no answer to the question? Then the holy being said: I will answer, listen well. Manjushri's true meaning is separate from the characteristics of phenomena. Conceptualization and characteristics are cut off from the root. What is needed and the result are naturally liberated. Various qualities manifest as the five bodies. From the arising of thoughts. For those with inferior intelligence and little knowledge, it appears as the stages of meditating on characteristics. Examine the common and individual characteristics. It is perfected in the meaning itself. Corresponding wisdom will surely be found. The distinctions of meditation are as before. For that, there is no sign of characteristics. Having understood the meaning with great wisdom. On the Dharmakaya, unborn and unchanging. The Sambhogakaya is the body of wisdom and awareness. The wisdom of knowledge controls the sky. The Nirmanakaya is able to do things in the realm of those to be tamed. These three, in impartial wisdom. Manjushri's true meaning is clear. Like the rising sun, it shines on all. First, the awareness of the Dharmakaya rises. Awareness and wisdom are clear in the light. From that, immeasurable light emanates. The ten directions fill the realm of space. Its splendor pervades the world. From that, with the difference of what is seen. If you are not distracted from the meaning of habituation. After wisdom and awareness become enlightened. Extremely awakened, is the master of awakening. All-knowing, separate from phenomena. That is shown as the measure of meaning. Otherwise, sentient beings with inferior intelligence. Not understanding the Dharmakaya as empty and vast. Even if they promise the unborn completion stage. Like disguising themselves as foxes, monkeys, and lions. Without realizing the insubstantial, empty Dharmakaya. With the mind's attachment and desire, they look at deities with characteristics. That is not Manjushri's meaning, said Vajrasattva. The meaning itself without characteristics. Does not rely on the mandala itself. Because there is no meditation on deities. For Manjushri's true meaning. The symbolic example is the wish-fulfilling jewel. Although there are no scriptures for the true meaning. For the sake of symbolism, one relies on scriptures to accomplish it. It cannot be proven by reasoning, wisdom is needed. If it is proven by reasoning, it will become inferior. For that, oral instructions are definitely needed. From oneself, there is also a cause. Because everything arises from oneself. The intention of the Sugatas of the three times, without error. The question was answered in detail.
