D. Clear. It is possible to abide in vajra-like wisdom because it is primordially pure without causes and conditions, but it is not possible to abide if it is substantial and without the essence of wisdom. All sentient beings of the six realms abide in a vajra-like, immaculate body, thus pervading all, not being controlled by others, not increasing or decreasing, thus not being interrupted. With the arising of the king of methods, the power of awareness, samsara itself is primordially pure as self-arisen wisdom. The swamp of suffering itself is the nature of reality, great bliss, self-purifying, therefore, a vajra fortress is built on the swamp of samsara. Son of the lineage, listen! All sentient beings should be known to have three bodies. The wisdom body is liberated from the end of suffering. The body that is not habitual is the substantial body of flesh and blood. The body of dualistic clinging is the mind that grasps both happiness and suffering. The basis is knowing the dharmakaya, and although there is no disease of habit, from the realm of conceptual mind, habit arises as disease, and the healing king of doctors heals with the six excellent medicines, as it is said. Ignorance is the disease of samsara, and it is healed by liberation from sorrow through awareness. The disease of conceptual thought, like poison, is healed by the great nectar of dharma wisdom. The disease of the great swamp of suffering is healed by the wisdom of great bliss. The disease of delusion, like darkness, is healed by the lamp of wisdom that is not moved by the wind. The disease of habit, like glue, is healed by non-inherent nature, like lapis lazuli. The disease of coarse and subtle thoughts, like stinging thorns, is healed by equanimity, unmoving like the ocean. Therefore, the distinctions of suffering are transformed into jewels, it is said. Thus, in the tantra of "The Peacock's Neck of Bodhicitta," the second chapter explains the nature of the basic dharmakaya. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva asked again: Alas! Bhagavan Vajradhara! Well abiding in the undefiled path, the samadhi of the Tathagata, the union of wisdom and reality without duality, is the intention of the Buddha himself, please teach with skillful means. After asking this, Vajrasattva said: Listen! Your question is good. Although the intention of the Tathagata is immeasurable, it is combined with the differences in the wisdom of sentient beings, and in order to keep the mind from abiding in such a dharma, a lamp stand is added.

In the manner of being without any modification, abiding as it is, is called "Thusness Alone." Furthermore, it is said in the scriptures: If there are things to be shown and a shower, Why are there no things to be meditated upon and a meditator? Therefore, the essence of Bodhichitta is to show the essence of Bodhichitta. For the purpose of showing the essence, one should always abide in the essence. Even though the meaning of realization is what is to be known, it is ignorance, until the model of the teachings is clear in one's own mind, one should clarify what is to be known and abide in Samadhi. The essence of Bodhichitta, the unchanging Dharmakaya, Do not seek it from elsewhere, the nature of mind is the manifest Buddha. The meaning of abiding in oneself, mind looks at mind. Unborn, uncreated, self-born Dharmakaya, Unmoving, unchangeable, abide in the Great Equality. Clear, non-conceptual, wisdom Dharmakaya, Abide in the state of uncreated Great Bliss. The three Kayas spontaneously accomplished, the adorned Sambhogakaya, Abide in the state of Great Bliss without separation. The Bindu is unique, its nature is free from elaboration, Even though various things appear, meditate on it as being unique. Just as the sun rises clearly from the expanse of the sky, From the unborn realm, self-born clear light shines. Meditate on the rays of compassion emanating from the Nirmāṇakāya. In the pure mandala of the phenomenal world, The generation and completion stages, without attachment or seeking, are spontaneously perfected. The accumulation of merit and wisdom is complete, the pure body, Meditate on the complete activities of Samantabhadra. The two obscurations are not purified, the two accumulations are spontaneously perfected, Like the body of a sapphire, stainless and pure from the beginning. Free from conceptual faults, wisdom is spontaneously accomplished, Meditate on it as being the self-born Vajra essence. The uncreated Dharmakaya, the basis of all, Bodhichitta, Even though it does not go to the ground or abide on the path, Until realization becomes confidence, one should meditate. The only Buddha does not abide in the Dharma, In order to abandon delusion and conceptuality, one should meditate in the nature of Dharma. The five poisons are enlightened as the five wisdoms, One should also meditate on them as the five uncontaminated liberations. The five elements are enlightened as the five goddesses, One should also meditate on them as the beautiful goddess Nirmāṇakāya. The phenomenal world is pure, beyond expression, One should also meditate on it as the pure realm of the Dharmakaya. Bodhichitta has no birth or death, One should also meditate on the vehicle of interdependent origination without separation. The vessel and its contents, things, are pure from the beginning, No matter
