A! Vajrapani asked the Bhagavan Secret Lord: "Where should one practice all things?" The Teacher replied to the assembly: "In the vast expanse of the essence of Dharmadhatu, whatever unobstructed play of rays there is, accumulate it entirely in the essence of enlightenment. In the original purity, emptiness, and non-reality, phenomena, existence, samsara, nirvana, permanence, and annihilation, all things, however many there are, do not change in anything, without conceptualization. There is no grasping or conceptualization of mind, thought, or intellect. Everything is complete, beyond the mind. The Buddha is originally pure and non-real, so practice the rest in non-reality. The Buddha's form and wisdom are without, sentient beings' bodies and habitual tendencies are without, the five bodies, five families, and five poisons are without, samsara, nirvana, and enlightenment are without. What need to mention the laws of samsara? View, meditation, conduct, and result, discipline, vows, learning, and samaya are without. The perfections, five paths, and ten bhumis are without. Practice all things in non-real emptiness." Thus he spoke. From the Tantra of the Vast Expanse of Space, the fifteenth chapter, entitled "Practicing in All Things." Then, Vajrasattva asked the Teacher, the Great Secret Lord: "How can the meaning of the sutras be condensed into one?" The Teacher replied to the assembly: "In the unseparated, unelaborated expanse of the essence, all appearances, thoughts, grasping, and clinging are gathered into the expanse of the essence of Dharmata. All entities are gathered into the expanse of non-reality. Phenomena, existence, samsara, and nirvana are gathered into the expanse of non-duality. Signs, expressions, designations, and attachments are gathered into the expanse of non-signs. View, meditation, philosophical tenets are gathered into the state beyond mind. The ocean of words is gathered into the one beyond expression. All fruits are gathered into the one original purity. Eighty-four thousand thoughts are gathered into the state beyond conception." Thus he spoke. From the Tantra of the Vast Expanse of Space, the sixteenth chapter, entitled "Showing the Condensation of the Meaning of the Sutras into One." Then, Vajrasattva asked the Teacher, the Great Secret Lord: "Where is the essence of the heart gathered?" The Teacher replied to the assembly: "In the vast expanse of the pure and clear light of the sphere of space, all the limbs of the self-arisen play of rays are gathered. In the great original purity, non-reality, and emptiness, phenomena, existence, samsara, nirvana, existence, non-existence, permanence, and annihilation are gathered. In the great expanse of the clear and pure original radiance, the essence is gathered into the great self-arisen natural clarity. In the vast expanse of the essence of Dharmata, the basis of all, the unobstructed essence of various plays of rays is gathered.

Having lost myself in the arising ground, I abandoned essence. In the great self-clarity, self-purity, essence is amassed. In whatever mind, thought, there is no grasping, essence is amassed. In the great, primordial purity, the essence is amassed. In whatever knowing, awareness, there is no entering, essence is amassed. Cutting through dualistic mind, in the non-duality of grasper and grasped, essence is amassed. Thus it was said. From the Tantra of Vast Expanse of Sky, the Seventeenth Chapter, which teaches the amassing of the essence of the heart. Then Vajrasattva asked the Teacher, the Great Lord of Secrets: "How is the Vast Expanse of Sky taught by means of example?" The Teacher spoke to the assembly: "Although the essence, primordial purity, is without example, in order to dispel the assembly's thoughts, it is taught by means of example. Assembly, do not be distracted, listen with respect. The example for mind is the sky. The sky is separate from all symbols. Sky is without birth. Space is without cessation. That which is without birth and cessation, gathers in the expanse of the essence, the nature of reality. Sky is separate from all partiality. The sky, as a symbol, is a symbol for the unintelligent mind. Sky is separate from all terms. It has not experienced birth, nor has it experienced cessation. It has not been divided into two, nor has it experienced one. Because it cannot be symbolized, it transcends symbols. It transcends appearance and non-appearance. Because there is no name to give, it transcends attachment to labels. Because there is no name, it transcends expression in words. That sky, from kalpa to kalpa, has never existed, has never not existed, has never been empty, has never appeared, has never been clear, has never experienced good and bad, happiness and suffering, has never been confused, revolved, or increased. The sky, which does not increase, transcends color, direction, and expression. Likewise, the nature of mind is primordial purity, it transcends terms, symbols, and mind. By means of the example called 'Vast Expanse,' it is the vastness of viewing without desire or support. It is the vastness of meditation without thinking of any mind or awareness. It is the vastness of conduct without attachment to various objects. It is the vastness of the result of primordial purity that transcends mind. It is the vastness of intention that does not move, shake, or have thoughts. It is the vastness of wisdom without discrimination. Because there is no protection, it is the vastness of samaya. It is the vastness of activity without effort. It is the vastness of the ground that cannot be cultivated. It is the vastness of the path that cannot be traversed. All phenomena are without separation, it is the vastness of the essence. From beginningless time until the en
