Is to abide in the Buddha-ground. Not seeing it as dualistic, this is to abide in the Buddha-ground. These are the meanings that are difficult to fathom. From the practice of bodhicitta without letters, the state of non-duality of the realm of reality and wisdom is shown, this is the fifth chapter. Then again, the profound meaning of the unseen and unobservable is taught. That which cannot be seen by seeing is like a jewel in the throat of a makara, which can never be shown. Because it is separated from all characteristics, it is a letterless state that is free from seeking. Because it is free from dominance, it is the master of experience. The unobservable is in the non-objective body, and likewise, the non-objective speech and mind are the same. Because it is unseen, it is the greatest seeing. It is the method of methods, a wondrous accomplishment. It is the utterly marvelous Great Perfection. That which is not possessed in the mind of the Buddha. If one understands this, it is said that one in a hundred will not come to understand. It is completely separate from the practice and accomplishment of scriptures. Because it is all-pervading, it is called the meaning of great bliss. By thinking without seeing, one sees everything. This is the greatest of definitive meditations. It transcends the ground and the perfections. Its appearance is without inherent existence. One should not even think of non-inherent existence, for it is beyond the realm of speech and thought. When feelings arise in the mind, they are naturally self-pacified. It is the ultimate, unsurpassed essence of definitive meaning. By the proliferation of accumulated thoughts, wrong guidance leads to non-meaning, cutting off its power. Reversing, not reversing through hardship. From the king comes the commoner, who will ultimately prevail. The king is the best of men. Seizing the kingdom, subduing the realm. Surely, killing him will not bring sin. This is rebirth, exceedingly victorious. If the wise kill the king, they will quickly rectify the royal family. Reversing customs, transcending the state of great bliss. From the practice of bodhicitta, the state of being unseen, this is the sixth chapter. Then, the meaning of the nature of reality as it is is taught. The mind that does not waver is the Buddha. In that meaning of non-arising, whatever abides is said to be the nature of reality. Abiding and non-abiding are non-dual. Therefore, this is the all-knowing, the accomplishment of the body. Not seeing anything of the nature of reality, the meaning is truly not inverted in the mind. Not recited and not clarified, it is the accomplishment of speech, exceedingly wonderful. Not relying on the ground, spontaneously accomplished. This is the old path, all go blindly. It is the accomplishment of gathering everything. Self-nature arises in self-nature. It is called self-arisen awareness. This does not

Suppressing appearances, no appearances. If an appearance arises in the mind, That is not a real appearance, but an illusion. That is not a self-born jewel. In the cultivation of Bodhicitta, the seventh chapter is the time of suchness of Dharma. Then again, this wonderful thing was taught: Unmoving mind is bliss, Because the mind does not feel the binding of the mind, Therefore, the mind should be carefully examined. With mindfulness, set the standard, When the mind looks at the mind, Nothing is seen, and there is no distraction. If meditated, not meditated; if accomplished, deteriorated. Therefore, whatever feelings arise, Self-arising and self-pacifying is the key to meditation. Just name it self-arising and self-pacifying. All actions of the mind, Rest in the state of no letters. That is the king of kings. It is called the Tantra of the Heart Essence of Instructions. For the intention of the one Sugata, For the benefit of future yogis, Meditate with excellent thought, Examine the meaning with wisdom. In the Bodhicitta cultivation, the Tantra without Letters, The eighth chapter is the occasion of showing the wonderful. Then, from the body, speech, and mind, the retinue taught from their own nature and said: Have you seen this Bodhicitta cultivation, the Tantra without Letters? Have you heard it? Have you practiced it? Have you understood its meaning? Have you realized it? Thus, it was said. Then, the retinue said in one voice: We do not know this Bodhicitta without Letters at all. After saying this, the Sugatas again merged into the nature of no letters. After singing thus, Vajrasattva awoke from his faint, offered outer and inner offerings to the Bhagavan, pleased him, prostrated at his feet, and said: Alas! Alas! Most venerable Bhagavan, you are endowed with great compassion, possess an ocean of skillful means, and have become the guru who guides beings. What are the means to restore these (vows) from degeneration? Will they be complete or incomplete after restoration? Please, Sugata, give a prophecy. After praying thus, the Bhagavan said: Vajrasattva, there are means to restore these (vows), like a lamp. Even if it is extinguished and degenerated, there are means to restore it. Like a golden or silver cup that is overturned, even if it is overturned, it can be straightened.
