The nature of mind is without arising or ceasing, yet, I explain the self-born wisdom to the son. To that which is the essence of Dharma, the gathering of essence, and cannot be shown, I explain the nectar instructions, the stacked lamp. The Dharma that is explained is but words, I explain a Dharma that cannot be shown. The Dharma that is made is conditioned, I explain a Dharma that is unmade and self-arisen. The Dharma of action is effort, one needs a Dharma that is without action and free from effort. Dharma fabricated by the mind has no ultimate end, I explain a Dharma that is beyond mind and ultimate. The Dharma of accomplishment is hope and doubt, I explain a Dharma that is primordially existent and abiding in its own place. At the end, I speak of the end, at the ultimate, I speak of the ultimate. I, Nga, explain the Dharma of knowing one thing and liberating all. I explain the Dharma of liberating one symbol and liberating all symbols. I explain the Dharma of liberating one key point and liberating all key points. I explain the Dharma of obscuring the mind at the beginning. I explain the Dharma of spontaneity and essence, free from action. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the Stacked Lamp, Gathering the Essence of Nectar, the first chapter is the chapter on Excellence and Introduction. Then, Ngangdang Khyuchung asked Yetok Sangye: "How is the abiding nature of things? How are the six realms if the abiding nature is not realized? How is samsara cut off from the root? By what means is realization attained? If realized, how will the fruit be obtained? Having obtained it, how is unchanging stability obtained? What are the faults of those below? Among the nine stages, which is the most excellent? What is the empowerment without empowerment and the mandala free from direction? What are the deities invoked for activity, the offerings and praises? How are the siddhis, samaya, and aspirations? How is everything completely unmixed and perfected? What is unmade, self-arisen, uncreated, and unspoken? How is the vehicle that is beyond expression and beyond mind taught? How is the Dharma of knowing one thing and liberating all? How does knowing one key point liberate all key points? How does one know one symbol and all symbols? Please bestow profound teachings upon us." Thus he asked. From the Tantra of the Stacked Lamp, the second chapter is the chapter of the Circle's Inquiry. Then, Ngangdang Khyuchung asked the Primordial Buddha: "What is the reality of the nature of things?" Then, that Primordial Buddha, in the Samadhi of the blazing light of various realms...

There he remained in equanimity. Having arisen from that, he spoke thus: "Listen, young ones with clear minds from among the retinue. The way things abide in their nature, although it cannot be expressed with signifying words, I will clearly explain it to all of you in the retinue with the lamp of the glorious song. The way things abide in their nature is beyond expression with signifying words, such as existence and non-existence, emptiness and non-emptiness. There is no birth and no cessation, and words are cut off. There is no buddha and no enlightenment, and no real body. There is no bodhicitta and no five families. There is no happiness and suffering, samsara and nirvana. There is no awareness, movement, mind, and memory. There is no self and other, direction, enemy and friend. There is no object, mind, good and bad, acceptance and rejection. There is no yes and no, distinction, direction. There is no nature of the two doors of knowledge and delusion. The nature of the ground is equal in existence and non-existence. Because the eight consciousnesses have not become objects, it is free from all limitations and biases. Dualistic grasping, samsara and nirvana, are pure from the beginning. Samsara and nirvana are without direction, spontaneously accomplished. Nothing is obstructed, there is no 'this'. Since it is not created by the initial cause, it is like the boundless sky. In the middle, there is no substance, not made by accumulation, like the rays of light radiating from the sun. In the end, there is no destruction by conditions, non-dual, abiding in equality like space. The essence is devoid of the power of emptiness, it cannot be pointed out as 'this'. Unobstructed, unexpressed, in clear purity, without thought, all arises, inexhaustible. Nothing has direction, free from the four extremes. The appearance of objects is pure, it is buddhahood itself. Without movement, directly, constantly liberated. The nature of the uncreated, beyond mind. Not obscured by delusion, in truth. The basis of everything is bodhicitta. No need to seek it from elsewhere, it is pure from the beginning. Nothing needs to be done, there is no bias. There is no limitation of acceptance and rejection, holding on to one. There is no duality of samsara and nirvana, etc. Free from the creation of the path of effort. The name of the seer and the self-born buddha, dualistic grasping, the tenets fabricated by the mind are empty. The movement and effort of meditation are primordially liberated, so arising and merging, abandoning and abiding are clear in the dharmadhatu. There is no name to judge faults and virtues, so the actions of dualistic grasping, acceptance and rejection, are stopped. Since it transcends the phenomena of good and evil signs, the acceptance and rejection of samaya vows are purified. Since the primordially pure wisdom has no appearance, the obscuration of unreal objects is purified. Since the nature of phenomena has no object, abiding in emptiness is also empty. Dualistic grasping of signs, real
