These statements made in the scripture of meditating on the non-lettered tantra are in no way mistaken; they are matters that are extremely difficult to investigate. I rejoice in the fact that the meaning of suchness is taught without alteration. At the time of explicit teaching, everything returns to the nature of being without letters. This is called the scripture of meditating on the mind of enlightenment without letters. From the essence of the oral instructions, the meaning of the ultimate truth, the supreme meaning, when everything becomes without letters, the meaning that is extremely difficult to investigate is completed. The Indian abbot Shi Sidha and Rnyo na Gsto said this. The Tibetan translator, the monk Birocana, translated it. From the essence of the wisdom mind, there is no other movement. Because there is no ignorance or conceptualization, it cannot be pointed to or clung to. Self-arisen wisdom is the best of views, like the sun rising in the sky 186.2. In the purity of the dharma nature of meaning, because it is free from the nature of effort, because self-awareness is separate from the object, in order to clearly reveal the absence of focus, there is nothing other than the realm of dharma. In such wisdom 186.3, there is no mistake or obscuration from the beginning. How is it that there is none? When the lamp of wisdom arises in itself, it is clear from the beginning that the darkness of ignorance is obscured. Great wisdom emerges from the realm of samsara. With the view of realization 186.4, it is already decided from the beginning, and self-grasping and attachment are completely destroyed in that place. The depths of the Sugata's intention are also immersed there. Space

Glong (transliteration, meaning vastness) is the great place of bliss. All is Bodhicitta. All is, like the sky. All external and internal phenomena, because they are made by Bodhicitta, are inherently enlightened in the Dharmadhatu. There is nothing to be refuted or established there. Whatever the nature of mind may appear, there is nothing to grasp in any appearance. In such wisdom, all is non-dual, inherently enlightened. How is it so? All high and low vehicles arise from co-emergent wisdom. There is no distinction between good and bad, big and small. In the self-born wisdom of Dharmata, it is taught that there is no difference between Samsara and Nirvana. There is no duality between object and mind. Because all are inherently enlightened, thus it overcomes all actions and the edge of searching. That is the wisdom of great bliss, all is co-emergent wisdom. Spontaneously accomplished, the supreme of infinity. All is, and also all is not. That is the supreme of vast bliss, the glory of the purity of all three realms. The pure land of the mind is peaceful and cool, the supreme of viewing the single Bindu. Samantabhadra, the all-good, is Samantabhadra. The space of the pure nature of the sky. There is no other Dharma than that. Having said this, the assembly was frightened and trembled, and Vajrasattva also prevailed. In the Great Perfection Wisdom Secret Tantra, the first chapter is the teaching of inherent enlightenment. Vajrasattva asked the Wisdom Secret King, saying: By what means can one realize the meaning of seeing inherent enlightenment? The Wisdom Secret King replied: O great assembly of Bodhisattvas, listen. This is the deity, this is the secret of great wisdom, which is accomplished by relying on wisdom and means. How is it accomplished? All Dharmas are contained in the three: essence, nature, and self. Unborn and unceasing is Dharmata, which dwells pervading all. Although it pervades all, it has no substance. That is the essence of unborn Dharmata. For the supreme lineage that realizes this, all is the unborn Dharmadhatu. In that, it is said to be the essence. In the unborn nature of mind, spontaneous miracles appear without seeking. It appears as the nature of dualistic grasping. How does it appear? From the difference of wisdom realization, body and

Wisdom, unsearched, arises. Unenlightened, it arises in the realm of samsara. It is merely the play of Kuntuzangpo. Unborn and unceasing, they are non-dual. The very state of being unborn is a state of play, possessing the nature of the magical display of birth. Just as these two are inseparable and equal, everything is gathered into that state. Nature, Dharma, is the ultimate reason. In this, there is no measuring or measured. Realizing non-existence in this way is the key to abiding. Thus it is said. From the Great Perfection Wisdom Secret Tantra, the second chapter, which definitively establishes the meaning of the Wisdom Secret. Then Vajrasattva asked: What are the qualities of such realization? Please explain. Then the King of Wisdom Secret spoke: O great Bodhisattva, listen! The qualities of realizing Bodhicitta are especially excellent. Before realization arises within oneself, the name of Buddha does not exist at all. That is the excellent, wise, and intelligent one, the yogi who realizes the unconditioned Dharma. Without taking another birth, one will be held by this great Buddha lineage. When the self-arisen wisdom of appearance and existence is realized, great wisdom will arise from it. When realization occurs in the realm of inner and outer Dharmas, the great Bindu will arise from it. Realizing that there is no difference between large and small, one realizes the Dharmakaya of equality. Again, when realizing without duality of existence and non-existence, self-awareness dances in the expanse of Kuntuzangpo. When realizing without duality of good and bad, the great bliss wisdom without acceptance or rejection is accomplished. There is no need to seek or search, it arises spontaneously from itself. When realizing without duality of happiness and suffering, the enjoyment of great bliss arises from it. The merit of realizing Bodhicitta exceeds a millionfold, and it is extremely difficult to contain it in the realm of space. Thus it is said. From the Great Perfection Wisdom Secret Tantra, the third chapter, which explains the nature of view and the qualities of realization. Then Vajrasattva asked the King of Wisdom Secret: O Bhagavan, King of Wisdom Secret, if I, in later generations, practice this meaning, how should I practice it? After asking this, the Bhagavan spoke: Vajra Sattva,
