With the nose of wisdom, one senses the supreme fragrance, without attachment to it, the nose of the Buddha. Now again, Vajrasattva, listen! The supreme taste of the Dharmakaya is shown in experience. The unspoken, blissful clarity is the tongue of the Buddha. With the tongue of wisdom, one experiences self-awareness. The meaning of that is the self-arisen body of realization. Now again, listen to the essence of the gathering. The insubstantial, clear awareness is the wisdom body. In the wisdom body, there is no birth or death. The meaning of that is the perfection of immutable qualities. Therefore, the Buddha is the Dharmakaya. Possessing that, in that instant, like the reflections of planets and stars in the four oceans, at once in hundreds of thousands of Jambudvipas (continents), the form body for the benefit of beings pervades at once, teaching the appropriate Dharma to each. The example is like the cloudless sky. The sign is knowing the Dharmakaya of the Buddha. Its qualities cannot be exhausted in words. From the 'Great Perfection, Wisdom Words Gathering Meaning,' from the tantra 'Wheel of Self-Arisen Bliss,' the twenty-ninth chapter, showing the activities of the Buddha, is complete. Vajrasattva again asked: What is the fault of wandering in samsara without realization? Where does its door of downfall lead? Please, all-knowing teacher, explain! Having heard the meaning of that request, the Blessed One spoke to the assembly of the retinue: All the tantras, agamas, instructions, and dharmas, by conceptually fabricating the four appearances, because of clinging to exaggeration and denigration, one increases suffering without meaning. Now again, Vajrasattva, listen! Like a bird feather carried by the wind, by entrusting the mind to an unstable basis, no matter what effort is exerted without realization, one does not liberate and the five poisons increase. Like a blind person wandering in a desolate plain, no matter how one meditates without realizing the definitive meaning, without the eye of wisdom, one strengthens habitual patterns, a mistaken path where one cannot cut off straying. That again, listen to the essence of the gathering. Like a bird with broken wings, because view and conduct are not known as one, by alternately adopting and rejecting conceptually, without realization, Dharma practice and actions are." , "english_translation": "Become confused.

If one cannot benefit from it, Then not realizing the Dharmakaya is the same. The words of Dzogchen Dondu Rigpa, From the Tantra of the Self-Arisen Wheel of Bliss, Chapter Thirty, on wandering without realization. Kunrig (All-Knowing) Buddha said: If one cannot cut off the beginning and end of the bardo between samsara and nirvana, Like a merchant without a surveyor, one cannot escape the suffering of birth and death. If one cannot recognize the Dharmakaya in the bardo between birth and death, Like darkness without a lamp, Ignorance will never have a time of awakening. Now, Vajrasattva, listen! If one cannot constantly practice the equality of the four times, Like a spring dried up by drought, one cannot overcome obstacles through view and meditation. If one cannot realize the meaning of enlightenment in the bardo of sentient beings, Like a jewel lost in the mud, it will not bear fruit but will enter the womb. Now, essence of gathering, listen! If, when arguing with other schools, one cannot ascertain the key points, Like a warrior without weapons, one cannot surpass the excellence of the profound instructions. Therefore, because of these mistakes, because one has not realized the essence of one's own mind, because there are no instructions, there is the fault of samsara, even if one counts kalpas, one will not attain liberation. The words of Dzogchen Dondu Rigpa, From the Tantra of the Self-Arisen Wheel of Bliss, Chapter Thirty-One, explaining the faults of not having instructions. Then, Kunrig Gyalpo (All-Knowing King), spoke to the faithful assembly: Even if one recites sutras with inconceivable wisdom, but by praising oneself and disparaging others, one will surely fall into the gate of the lower realms. Obstructing the good thoughts and actions of others is the act of a demon, being stingy due to non-realization, one will fall into the gate of demons and wander in samsara. Because of jealousy of others' Dharma, even if one possesses many qualities, if one cannot realize the essence of one's own mind, one will fall into the gate of yakshas and constantly wander. Because of not realizing equality, in one's own continuum, using the measure of attachment and aversion, misusing the five poisons, one will fall into the gate of rakshasas and constantly wander. Without having attained independent samadhi, wishing to distinguish retinues and factions, desiring to be great and gathering retinues, one will constantly wander like a fierce beast. Without realizing correctly and without error, becoming a teacher of wrong views for others, not liberating oneself, but liberating others.
