Without moving the realm with the thought of seeking, relying on what is shown here, in order to extend with gentle means, this meaning of wisdom should be taught to the suitable person. If this meaning is not understood, and there is no water of bodhicitta, even the Buddhas will arise. If one strives for others, like a woman desiring milk, that woman who squeezes the horn, will not obtain milk from the horn. From this, all arises, this is the seed, there is not one that does not arise from this. From the Tantra of the Noble and Supreme Vajra Light of Bodhicitta, the third chapter, which teaches that all arises from the mind. Then Vajrasattva asked: O Blessed One, what is the nature of the mind? The Blessed One replied: Great Bodhisattva, the very nature of the mind is: it is nothing, yet it appears as anything. Immeasurable, inexpressible, inconceivable, indescribable, this is said to be the nature of the mind. The appearance of suffering of beings is self-nature, it does not arise from others. Happiness, liberation, and enjoyment, apart from the Dharmata realm, it is said that there is not even a particle. The wheel of body and ornaments is one's own mind, it is not elsewhere. Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha are self-nature, they are not elsewhere. Therefore, there is no object of veneration, no need to protect, no need to practice, no effort. There is no color, shape, or place, no happiness or suffering, no cause and effect. It is not non-existent, it is the master of all, it is not existent, it is inexpressible. There is no self, no other, no death or transmigration. It is not non-existent, it arises all, it is not arising, it is that very nature. All is one taste, the state of pervasive wisdom, like the taste of the water of the sky, the meaning of indivisibility is one. This is self-aware bodhicitta, it cannot be pointed out. It is nothing, yet it appears as anything, the essence of self-arising, the supreme meaning. In the very nature of appearance, there is no non-appearance, it appears in the manner of non-appearance. The so-called non-existence is merely grasping, one should not abide in that very nature. If one abides, it is a place of error. What is error, what is mistaken? Where is the error, how is the error? The appearance of error is that very nature. That very nature is without substance, therefore, one should not abide in it. If one abides, it is grasping. Thus it was said, Vajra Mind

The heart hero abides in that very nature. From the Tantra of the Noble Lord of Bodhicitta, Dorje O-Tro (Vajra Light), the Fourth Chapter: Showing the Nature of Mind. Emaho! Great heart hero, I will explain the qualities of mind, heart hero, listen carefully. The great qualities of mind are such that even if all the Buddhas, as numerous as the dust particles in a thousand million worlds, were to speak of it for millions of eons, they would not be able to fully describe it. It is unobscured, completely clear. It is the very essence of all things. Even when tormented by millions of sufferings, it is not moved even a particle. All happiness and suffering are its great enjoyment, but at that time, it does not cling to them. The Dharmakaya, without any object of focus, radiates its miraculous nature. It is not radiating, it is that very nature. Without elaboration, without gathering, without letters, it is beyond calculation, hence the spontaneously accomplished body. Devote yourself to it, it is the cloud of offerings, the means of accomplishment residing in space. Naturally irreversible, with accomplishment of siddhis, the meaning of the ultimate complete seal. The person who understands this meaning has no veneration and no recitation, no offerings and no meditation, no protection and no conceptualization, no abandoning and no taking, the Bodhicitta, without deliberate action, everything is complete. This is the self-arisen king, the essence of all Buddhas, the condensed essence of all fruits, its nature is clear, so there is no darkness. Thus, all appearances arise from this and dissolve into this. There is no duality of faults and qualities, no taking and no discarding, no change. Without doing, everything is accomplished, without going, everything ripens, without teaching, everyone understands. These are the qualities of mind, as spoken by the Bhagavan Samantabhadra. From the Tantra of the Noble Lord of Bodhicitta, Dorje O-Tro (Vajra Light), the Fifth Chapter: Showing the Qualities of Mind. Then, Vajrasattva said: Emaho! Bhagavan, please explain the means of practicing this. The Teacher replied: Emaho! Great heart hero, because there is no practice, practice in the way of no practice. Do not abandon appearances, without conceptualization, do not abide in non-conceptualization, without conceptualization, be relaxed, even in relaxation, there is no conceptualization, in the unconceptualized basis of reality, awareness dwells in space as it is.
