So it was said. From the Tantra of the Supreme King, this is the twenty-fifth chapter, which clarifies the key points of appearance. Then, Vajrapani asked the Teacher: Alas, alas, Teacher Vajradhara! What are the examples and meanings of appearance from non-existence? The Teacher replied: Listen, all of you assembled retinue! These various appearances of delusion, From existence they do not appear, from non-existence they appear. For example, like the eight examples of illusion. When a person falls asleep and dreams, He has sons, wives, wealth, and livestock. He enjoys great happiness, But many armed soldiers Kill his sons, plunder his wealth, and he experiences suffering. That dream that the person has, Does it appear from existence or from non-existence? When he awakens, what will he think? Is that deluded dharma existent or non-existent? Likewise, present deluded appearances, Do they appear from existence or from non-existence? They are equal to a dream. Is the dharma of a dream true or false? If it is true, it is equal to truth. If it is false, it is equal to falsehood. Likewise, a magician, Creates illusory men, women, Houses, music, and all kinds of wild animals. Do they appear from existence or from non-existence? Knowing illusion, illusion does not exist. The truth and falsehood of illusion are known through illusion. Likewise, these deluded objects, The truth and falsehood of delusion are known through delusion. They are equal to the dharma of illusion. Likewise, a mirage appearing as water, From existence it does not appear, from non-existence it appears. Real water is also the same. It is equal to the mirage itself. Because there is no truth. Likewise, eye defects and distortions, From existence they do not appear, from non-existence they appear. Hairs, wool, fluff, and even the tip of a needle, From existence they do not appear, because they appear from non-existence. They are equal to conventional objects. Objects are delusion, there is no truth. Likewise, an emanation of an emanation, From existence it does not emanate, from non-existence it emanates. Because it is an emanation, it does not exist. Likewise, deluded actions, Are equal to the emanation itself. Why is it sufficient to say it is delusion? Likewise, an image like the moon in water, Although it stands upright, it does not appear. If it exists, the appearance should be consistent. But one appearance is not consistent. It is equal to the image itself. Likewise, like an echo, From existence it is not imputed, from non-existence it is imputed. If it exists, one name should be imputed. But one thing has many names, and the meanings are not consistent. It is equal to the echo itself.

Equal. Therefore, there is no difference from the cliff itself. When it exists, it is not seen; when it does not exist, it appears. For example, like the city of the Gandharvas. When it stands tall, it does not exist. The appearance itself is non-existent. When it does not exist, look at the miracle of the mind. If you see the Dharma nature of illusion, that is seeing. If you see what is unseen, then it does not exist. Seeing is non-existent. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the Great Sovereign King. Chapter Twenty-Six, which explains the view of determining appearance as emptiness by aligning illusion with Dharma nature. Then again, it was taught: Listen, assembly of Vajra Holders. Have you seen? If you have seen, then look with seeing. If you have not seen, then what do you meditate on? For example, some blind people. Grasping the elephant's trunk, tail, legs, and back. Each one thinks that whatever they touch is what it looks like. Through practice, they are far from the true face of the elephant. Without understanding the reality of seeing, those foolish ones who meditate. Are like blind people feeling an elephant. Therefore, the wise should observe well. Look at dreams, when you see them. Knowing dreams, then meditate on dreams. Familiarity with dreams is meditation. If you see illusion, then meditate on illusion. The form and color of illusion and the sound of illusion. The smell of illusion and the taste of illusion. The touch of illusion and the Dharma of illusion. If you see illusion well. Familiarity with illusion is meditation. Meditate, from illusion. Act in illusion, it is illusion. Illusion is a fruitless fruit. Likewise, dreams and mirages, etc. Therefore, the wise should observe well. Have you seen? If you have seen, that is seeing. If you are familiar with these, that is meditation. If you act in non-duality, that is action. Without gathering and separation, that is the fruit. Thus it is said. Then, the Vidyadhara Gewe Tong. To Buddha Vajrasattva and. Protector Vajradhara. With a smiling face, respectfully prostrating. To the assembly of Buddhas, he requested: To the mandala of the six realms, the deity of the union of the two. We, ignorant and conceptual beings. Have a wrong view of the true suchness. Fundamental vows, groups of broken ones. Not concealing, not hiding, I confess everything. Hereafter, I vow to protect, please bear witness. Whatever was done in the past. Through the effort of body, speech, and mind. Practicing the six paramitas. Atoning for sins, I pray to the peaceful and wrathful deities to witness. Body, speech, and mind, with devotion, I confess and prostrate. Bless.
