Cannot be expressed. If there is no appearance, what is appearance? If appearance is a single object, to whom is it true? Whether truth or falsehood in an object depends on one. For example, phenomena are like water. The six paths, non-Buddhists, permanence and annihilation, and The nine levels of sequential vision, with different appearances, In names, there is not even one truth. For example, like China, Tibet, and Zhangzhung, It is only a name, pointing to this. It cannot be expressed by Vajrasattva. Appearance, existence, non-existence, delusion, or non-delusion? If it is delusion, is delusion true or false? If delusion is true, to whom is it true? If delusion is false, then it is not so. To the non-deluded, who says appearance? If someone says, the one who says is deluded. Therefore, the nature of phenomena is without substance. If there is substance, determine the substance. If it is determined, what is the substance? Those who believe in substance are foolish. No matter what, it is delusion. Foolish, dull, and fortunate sons, Good and evil are originally equal. Why? For the sake of freeing from foolishness. Virtuous qualities cannot be abandoned. Evil deeds do not bring harm. Why is there no sign? Therefore, there is no aspiration. In emptiness, there is no benefit or harm. Habits are good thoughts and bad thoughts. Thoughts also create samsara. Within samsara, there are great differences. Practice virtue, son of lineage. Separate your habits from corpses. If you do not separate from habits and corpses, The bonds of samsara cannot be severed. Pull out the peg that is the basis of birth. So it is said. From the Tantra of the Supreme King, removing the obstacles of doubt and hesitation Is the chapter on seeing the face of the Dharmakaya, the twenty-fourth. Then again he said, listen, assembly of Vajradhara. For example, appearances are various. Like the transformations of illusion. What creates the object of illusion? What causes the connection of illusion? For example, when a man falls asleep, The transformations of good and evil in dreams Appear as real, like dreaming of an object. When habits manifest during the day, Is there substance or not? For example, in last night's dream, Many men with weapons Kill me, fight, and chase me up the mountain. Terrified, exhausted, I fled without dying. When awakened, what does it appear as? Likewise, this object of appearance, Mount Meru, the four continents, all the elements, Enemies, friends, attachment, hatred, all sufferings, Are like illusion and dream, without difference. Appearing from existence, appearing from non-existence. All phenomena that are seen are without existence. Without

Existing forms are illusions. In the time of illusion, existence is non-existent. Only in conventional truth, to whom is it true? If it were true, then all beings should understand it completely and uniformly. Therefore, there isn't even a slight commonality. For example, like the element of water, the six realms, eternalists, nihilists, and the various vehicles, not even a slight commonality appears. Therefore, it appears from non-existence. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the Supreme King, the twenty-fifth chapter, which clarifies the essential points of appearance. Then, Vajrapani asked the Teacher: "O, O, Teacher, Vajradhara, what are the examples and meanings of appearing from non-existence?" The Teacher replied: "Listen, assembly of gathered ones, these various illusory appearances, do not appear from existence, but appear from non-existence. For example, like the eight examples of illusion. When a person falls asleep and dreams, possessing sons, wives, wealth, and livestock, enjoying great happiness, but then many weapons and armies kill his sons, plunder his wealth, and he dreams of suffering. Does that dream of that person appear from existence or from non-existence? What does he think when he awakens? Does the dharma of illusion exist or not? Likewise, the current illusory appearances, do they appear from existence or from non-existence? They are equal like a dream. Is the dharma of dream true or false? If true, then it is equal in truth. If false, then it is equal in falsehood. Likewise, a magician conjures men, women, houses, music, and all kinds of wild animals. Do they appear from existence or from non-existence? One who knows illusion knows that illusion does not exist. The truth and falsehood of illusion are known through illusion. Likewise, this illusory thing, the truth and falsehood of illusion, is known through illusion. It is equal to the dharma of illusion. Likewise, a mirage appears as water, it does not appear from existence, but appears from non-existence. Real water is also the same. It is equal to the mirage itself. Because there is no truth. Likewise, eye disease or blurred vision, it does not appear from existence, but appears from non-existence. Hairs, wool, needle-like things, all do not appear from existence, but appear from non-existence. It is equal to conventional things. Illusory things have no truth. Likewise, an emanation of an emanation, it does not emanate from existence, but emanates from non-existence. Because it is an emanation, it does not exist. Likewise, illusory actions are equal to the emanation itself. Why?
