Just as the master did, we also, with the motivation of great love and compassion and bodhicitta, after the Khenpo gave a detailed explanation, recited the two verses as a way of taking refuge and generating the mind. Then, according to the content of the text, it was explained how to make aspirations in the Pure Land of Sukhavati and the four causes of rebirth, etc. The Khenpo said that these four causes should be condensed into one session of practice. First, remembering the qualities of the Pure Land and the teacher, and having faith in them. The Khenpo explained the praise of the Pure Land, either in detail or in brief, and then the bell-ringer urged, from "The world of suffering..." to "May you always protect all beings." In alternating verses and prose, with a beautiful melody, the assembly recited together. The second cause is to accumulate immeasurable roots of virtue, condensing the accumulation of merit into seven branches, as a preliminary practice, inviting the power of the Pure Land and the fulfillment of aspirations. From "Places of acceptance and rejection..." to "Please come here." Then, the detailed seven-branch offering can be done by alternating the seven-branch offering of the "Bodhisattvacharyavatara" and the "Bhadrakalpikasutra," or briefly according to the "Bhadrakalpikasutra." The Khenpo explained each branch and then proceeded in order. The third cause is to generate bodhicitta, using "The essence of bodhi..." etc. as the beginning of taking refuge, and like the "Bodhisattvacharyavatara," cultivating the mind through vows and rejoicing. The fourth cause is to dedicate all the roots of virtue to be reborn in Sukhavati. The Khenpo said that one should remember the meaning of the words of the aspiration and generate a strong desire, and then the assembly recited together "I and others..." to "May we guide the beings of the impure land with the single aspiration of Sukhavati," and the subsequent aspirations, reciting in detail "Opening the Door to the Supreme Pure Land" or "The Supreme Aspiration," or briefly reciting "The Mother of All Sugatas," etc., and then reciting aspirations such as the "Bhadrakalpikasutra," doing them at leisure. Like this, it would be good if we could do two sessions, one before and one after. Although this is just my personal idea, please consider it carefully. This was sent by the kind Anu Lama of Serxu Monastery.

The beautiful form of the Lord of the Earth, Adorned with the splendor of Samadhi, wisdom, qualities, and glory, Having become the basis of benefit and happiness for limitless beings, I prostrate with reverence to the Sage King and his retinue. The mother of all Buddhas, exceedingly difficult to fathom, The ornament that clearly elucidates the unerring intent, The well-spoken words on the general meaning of the fourth chapter, As a condition for engaging in teaching, listening, and practice. Arising from the ingenuity of craftsmanship and magical skill, The printing plate that manifests one into many, With excellent wisdom, may the lotus garden of the Sage's teachings, Be created by the power of the noble-minded's aspiration to flourish. Diligently taking to heart whatever he commands, Along with the close attendant, Lobsang Chonyi, and The skilled engravers, father and son Bula, Gathering together the virtuous deeds of thought and action. May the power of that virtue, stainless like the essence of a hundred million moons, Completely white as if condensed into one, May the wish-fulfilling tree of the Victorious Teachings of scripture and realization, Have all the branches of explanation and accomplishment complete. Primarily through the connection of this virtuous activity, May all beings, with limitless light, In the beautiful and delightful mandala of the Victorious Ones, Take the supreme body from the lotus womb. The space of the Victorious Mother's intent, not arising from the eye, The appearance of duality of object and Subject, free from dust, Having perfected the stainless realization of the four unions, May all abide in the realm of the Dharmakaya. It is absurd to be lazy and not work, yet seek quarrels and disputes. An old man, extremely aged, forgets the three things: teaching, debating, and writing. If squeezed too much, even the thick juice is close to spilling. Being very afraid of the Guru's command, I have slightly reduced it.
