因此,在第一观察品(བརྟག་པ་དང་པོའི་,first examination)第十章中说:远离手印的因和相(ཕྱག་རྒྱའི་རྒྱུ་དང་རྣམ་བར་བྲལ་,free from the cause and characteristics of mudrā)。

Similarly, relying on the two truths (བདེན་པ་གཉིས་, two truths), the yogi (རྣལ་འབྱོར་པ་, yogin) who is wise should not abandon the conventional truth (ཀུན་རྫོབ་ཀྱི་བདེན་པ་, conventional truth) of the twelve examples of illusion (སྒྱུ་མའི་དཔེ་བཅུ་གཉིས་, twelve examples of illusion) and the wheel of samaya (དམ་ཚིག་འཁོར་ལོས་, wheel of samaya), but should show the wheel of the mandala (དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་གྱི་འཁོར་ལོ་, wheel of mandala) as they are tamed. In the extensive explanation of the definitive meaning (ངེས་པའི་དོན་, definitive meaning) of glorious Hevajra (ཀྱཻ་རྡོ་རྗེའི་, Hevajra), in the tenth extensive explanation of the chapter of empowerment (དབང་གི་ལེའུའི་, chapter of empowerment), the Vajra master (རྡོ་རྗེ་སློབ་དཔོན་, Vajra master) vidyādhara (རིག་སྔགས་འཆང་གིས, vidyādhara) said: From the very beginning, all dharmas (ཆོས་ཐམས་ཅད་, all dharmas) abide nearly like dreams (རྨི་ལམ་ལྟ་བུ་, like a dream) and like the moon in water (ཆུ་ཟླ་ལྟ་བུ་, like a moon in water), and the moment of action of entering the disciple into the mandala (དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་དུ་གཞུག་པ་, entering the mandala) and all increasing activities (ལས་རྒྱས་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་, all increasing activities) is not that moment. Why is that? Because all dharmas are empty (དབེན་པའི་ཕྱིར་རོ, because of emptiness) by their very nature (ངོ་བོ་ཉིད་, own nature) from the very beginning. Moreover, those beings who engage in these activities and gather disciples, devoid of these understandings, are like mad elephants (གླང་པོ་ཆེ་སྨྱོན་པ་, mad elephant), destroying their own group and ruining the groups of others. In the fourth chapter of the difficult commentary 'Vajra Collection of Words' (རྡོ་རྗེའི་ཚིག་བཏུ་བ་, Vajra Collection of Words) of glorious Hevajra (དཔལ་དགྱེས་པ་རྡོ་རྗེའི་, Śrī Hevajra), it says: The mind (སེམས་, mind) of the yogi (རྣལ་འབྱོར་པ་, yogin) whose nature is knowledge (ཤེས་, knowledge) and wisdom (ཡེ་ཤེས་, wisdom) is the source of bliss (བདེ་བའི་འབྱུང་གནས་, source of bliss), and the method for realizing the great bliss (བདེ་བ་ཆེན་པོ་, great bliss) without difference (དབྱེར་མེད་པར་, without difference) for all beings who become holy (དམ་པ་, holy) and unholy (དམ་པ་མ་ཡིན་པར་, unholy) through good or bad groups is only one's own mind (རང་གི་སེམས་ཁོ་ན་, one's own mind). By nature (རང་བཞིན་གྱིས་, by nature) bliss arises, and the attainment of the cessation (འགག་པ་ཐོབ་པ་, attainment of cessation) of the dharmas with outflows (ཟག་པ་དང་བཅས་པའི་ཆོས་རྣམས་, dharmas with outflows) is said by the holy gurus (བླ་མ་དམ་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་, holy gurus) to arise from training in excellent meditation (བསམ་གཏན་ཕུལ་དུ་བྱུང་བ་བསླབས་པ་, training in excellent meditation). This is the instruction (མན་ངག་གི་སྟེ, instruction). Therefore, in the tenth chapter of the first examination (བརྟག་པ་དང་པོའི་, first examination), it says: Free from the cause and characteristics of mudrā (ཕྱག་རྒྱའི་རྒྱུ་དང་རྣམ་བར་བྲལ་, free from the cause and characteristics of mudrā). For those who possess the feet of wisdom (ཤེས་རབ་, wisdom) and compassion (སྙིང་རྗེའི་, compassion), the secret wisdom-jnana (གསང་བ་ཤེས་རབ་ཡེ་ཤེས་, secret wisdom-jnana) and the fourth empowerment (བཞི་པ་, fourth empowerment) are not necessary at first, and later they do not need to rely on other mudrās, but only on the Mahāmudrā free from elaboration (སྤྲོས་པ་དང་བྲལ་བའི་ཕྱག་རྒྱ་ཆེན་པོ་, Mahāmudrā free from elaboration). Thus, they are not touched by the faults of desire, and since they abide in the method of liberation from desire, they also have the authority to receive and give the instructions of secret and wisdom-jnana. If they are without empowerment, but have the authority to receive its instructions and give, then the true empowerment is giving. Vajradhara (རྡོར་འཛིན་, Vajradhara) said: 'If it is not so, there will be no siddhi (དངོས་གྲུབ་,siddhi), and there will be no bodhi (བྱང་ཆུབ་,bodhi).' and so on, it is not so. If someone asks: 'Is that not so?' The answer is: No, it is like opening the eyes with an eye medicine stick. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
