It is merely a place for nominal designation, devoid of agents and the like. For space, the wise merely apply terms. Apart from the name, nothing exists, like space. Similarly, the Lord of Secret Mantras also appears merely as a designation. It is not fire, not water, not wind. Not earth, nor the sun, Not the moon and all the planets. Not day, nor night. Not birth, nor aging, Not death, nor decay. Not a moment, nor an instant, Nor years and so on. There is no destruction and formation, Nor the number of kalpas. There are no fruits arising from virtue and non-virtue. Desiring the state of omniscience, For all kinds of conceptual thoughts, Where all these do not exist, One should always strive. Thus it is said. Therefore, for such a yoga of selflessness, those who are capable should always see Hevajra (kyai rdo rje). Also, from the Hevajra Tantra: 'For example, if water enters the ear, it should be removed by other water.' It means that if there are a few drops of water deep in the ear canal, pouring in other water will cause it to flow out, which is evident to worldly people. Like this example: 'Similarly, conceptual thoughts of things should be purified by conceptual thoughts themselves.' It means that unless one contemplates the samadhi that is imagined, the Dharmakaya that is contemplated, and the parts of the body as the form of the deity, there is no way to be liberated from the nature of existence. In the Extensive Explanation of the Definitive Meaning of Hevajra, the eighth chapter explains the method of deity practice: 'To focus on emptiness, one should separately contemplate aspirations. Because the nature of things is empty, there is no characteristic called cause. Because there is no conceptual thought, there is no aspiration. Free from fabrication, indivisible, without the reality of arising and ceasing, therefore there is no meaning of aspiration. Because there is no Dharma and Dharmata, there is no Bodhi and no Buddha. Like dreams and illusions, like a city of Gandharvas. Similarly, Buddhas and sentient beings should also be observed through contemplation. Like the echo of a cliff, similarly, the Buddhas teach the Dharmas. After contemplating in this way, in order to gather sentient beings, the Bodhisattvas abide in whatever existence of samsara. Because the obscuration of knowledge and the Mara of afflictions are the same, they should be abandoned.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Merely for the sake of protection, even great conflicts cannot incinerate. A Bodhisattva who possesses love for all sentient beings, with great diligence, within the very Vajra mind of the Buddha, contemplates everything as himself, and without any object of focus in emptiness, should recite these mantras: Om, emptiness, wisdom, vajra, self-nature, I. Om, Emptiness, Wisdom, Vajra, Self-Nature, I). Then, one should recall the initial aspiration, and in order to accomplish the play of benefiting beings with that aspiration mind, the yogi should contemplate his own mind as the actual entity of the deity. As it is said in the root tantra: 'Seeing the three realms of beings trapped in the net of conceptualization, in order to liberate them, he taught the corresponding methods. Bound by the habitual patterns of conceptualization, he initially taught the rituals of conceptualization. When one knows the nature of conceptualization, one can enter into non-conceptualization. The mandala, the palace of the wheel, and how the deities arise, the summoning of wisdom and the empowerment, as well as what is indicated by the root of the wheel, semen, and winds, are all taught by the protector of the world in order to guide children to enter. It is not the definitive meaning, but rather another profound meaning. The regulations of the mandala and the deities, the summoning of wisdom and the empowerment, and who possesses semen and winds? Hey, Vajra, you do not understand the definitive meaning.' Thus it is said. In the ninth chapter of the Extensive Explanation of the Pure Chapter from the Extensive Explanation of the Definitive Meaning of Hevajra: 'Hevajra, the Bhagavan, what are the grasper and the grasped?' It means, 'With what, what is grasped, and how is it grasped?' The Bhagavan replied, meaning as an answer: 'The eye grasps form, the ear hears sound, the nose smells scent, the tongue tastes flavor, the body touches objects.' Thus it is said, children are attached to objects and the possessors of objects, self and what belongs to self, and the aspects of pleasure and suffering, therefore they are impure. But the wise yogi enters through skillful means, and that is pure. Thus, all pleasure and suffering, from the very beginning, their nature is emptiness and stillness. Whoever knows it thus is purified, which is the definitive meaning. Therefore, with a pure mind, treat the pleasure etc. obtained by the mind, and after eliminating the poison, these that should be relied upon should be relied upon.' For those skilled in yoga and those with the nature of children, it should be understood in this way. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
