The ritual of the earth. Then, as previously described, perform offerings and praises, and partake of nectar. Recite the three syllables (Tibetan: ཡི་གེ་གསུམ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अक्षरत्रय, Sanskrit Romanization: akṣaratraya, Literal meaning: three syllables), and dissolve Vairocana (Tibetan: རྣམ་སྣང་, Meaning: All-illuminating) and the deities of his family, such as Locanā, into the vajra Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal meaning: Oṃ) at the crown of the head. Dissolve Amitābha (Tibetan: སྣང་མཐའ་, Meaning: Infinite Light) and the deities of his family, such as White-robed Mother, into the vajra Āḥ (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal meaning: Āḥ) at the throat. Dissolve the deities of the Akṣobhya (Tibetan: མི་བསྐྱོད་པ, Meaning: Immovable) family, such as Māmakī, into the vajra Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ) at the heart. In the commentary on the mandala ritual, when gathering everything into the three families, Śāntipa said that Ratnasambhava (Tibetan: རིན་འབྱུང་, Meaning: Jewel-born) and Amoghasiddhi (Tibetan: དོན་གྲུབ་, Meaning: Unfailing Success) are gathered into the speech vajra. Here, these two and the remaining deities of their families are also gathered into the syllable Āḥ, which is the supreme method for accomplishing activities. Then: The cycle of existence has no beginning and no end, The benefit of sentient beings is endless, For the sake of benefiting sentient beings without end, I vow to practice immeasurable conduct. The expanse of the ten directions of space is endless, For the sake of perfecting the benefit of all sentient beings, Just as Mañjuśrī acts, May my conduct also be like that. And so on, and also recite the 'King of Prayers, the Noble Conduct.' Then, what should be done between the beginning and end of a session? There are two aspects, general and specific. Generally speaking, it is easy to understand that everything that appears becomes the peaceful vajra, as the dependent and the basis, and contemplate the Ḍākinī offering. When making offerings to oneself and giving to others, contemplate in the same way, this is the yoga of pure enjoyment. To perform the inner fire offering, when enjoying food and drink, bless the food and drink as inner offerings. Visualize a triangular fire pit made from Raṃ (Tibetan: རཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: रं, Sanskrit Romanization: raṃ, Literal meaning: Raṃ) at the heart, and visualize a complete mandala in that place. The two hands form the pouring gesture, and the food and drink become the sacrificial substances. Bless the tongue as before. Enjoying in the manner of offering a fire sacrifice is the yoga of food. When engaging in activities of body and speech, such as teaching the Dharma and offering to the Buddha, if done without distraction from the deity yoga, then any movement of the body is like forming a mudrā, accumulating merit, and any speech is like reciting mantras, gathering merit. Through the gate of Amoghasiddhi, transfer the main deity to the heart of the transferred mandala, on a moon disc in the center of various lotuses, from Maṃ (Tibetan: མཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: मं, Sanskrit Romanization: maṃ, Literal meaning: Maṃ) a vajra marked with Khaṃ (Tibetan: ཁཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: खं, Sanskrit Romanization: khaṃ, Literal meaning: Khaṃ) emanates light. As before, invite the initiation deities, perform the initiation, and contemplate the meaning of emptiness, generating faith in purifying sins, this is restoring the vows. Also, visualize the initiation when bathing. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It should be done as instructed. How to do it at other times? After offering the Mandala, the recitation and so on should be completed as before. If in a hurry, visualize the palace and the main deity, then emanate the deities of the Mandala from the heart, and it is enough to complete the blessing of the sense bases and so on. When sleeping, place the wheel of the Mandala within your heart, and sleep with the union of skillful means and wisdom. In the morning, be awakened by the songs of the goddesses, and then perform the daily practice. Thus, this practice of Manjushri Vajra, known as the tradition of Yeshe Zhap, was not arbitrarily created by Yeshe Zhap himself, but is the tradition that the venerable Manjushri personally revealed to Yeshe Zhap. In India, this is considered a great tradition recognized by scholars. Therefore, this practice has been refined by referring to many relevant texts and is trustworthy. Through the oral instructions of Manjushri, the key points of the first stage of the Guhyasamaja Tantra are clearly explained. This practice combines the two practices of the master (referring to Tsongkhapa himself), as well as the writings of Marpa, who attained supreme accomplishment in this life, Thagana, Rinchen Jungne, the writings of Pal Dre Dorje Menpa, and the profound explanations in the writings of Kuntu Zangpo, clarifying the key points of the first stage of the ritual sequence. With this, may all beings smoothly enter the path of Guhyasamaja and quickly attain Manjushri Vajra. This text, entitled 'The Practice of the Venerable Manjushri Vajra: Clarifying the Intent of Manjushri,' was written by Tsongkhapa Losang Drakpa, who has unwavering faith in Manjushri, for the benefit of many seekers, at Drok Riwo Che Ganden Nampar Gyalwai Ling. The scribe was Kazhipa Rinchen Pel. May this action enable the precious Dharma to flourish in all times and places! Sarva Mangalam.
