Therefore, the ordinary person's conceptualizations do not contradict the suffering of existence. Although possessing the view of selflessness, it does not directly conflict with generosity and so forth, but only directly conflicts with the view of selflessness itself. As the Buddha, the Lord of Wisdom, said: 'Although the ordinary person possesses selflessness in their own form, why would it conflict with generosity and so forth? This is true, but it cannot be reversed there.' Extreme joy does not become a cause of happiness, because it is of the nature of equanimity. Even perfect enlightenment, which is attended by hundreds of hardships and the cessation of conflict, is to be attained through countless eons. Therefore, the way of the pāramitās is not a good cause for the path of the supreme being's purpose. This mind in the form of a mandala wheel contradicts all the sufferings of revolving in samsara, and because it is without the collection of extreme joy and happiness and is a swift means of happiness, it is the cause. Since this alone is reasonably the happiness of the path, it should be taught with awareness. If that is so, then are generosity and so forth without fruit? That is to be shown with difficulty, for the intention is only to do the benefit of beings. Thus, only in the beginning, for the sake of pacifying the suffering of beings, by seeing beings suffering, with compassion alone, generating the two aspects of bodhicitta, aspiration and action, those who are supremely gentle do not engage for their own need. Thus, in the state of samādhi, they act with the manner of delight and gathering, and when they arise from samādhi, in the state of engaging in actions without objectification, such as dharma and material things, doing the benefit of sentient beings like a wish-fulfilling jewel is the main purpose, and the Thus-Gone One arises incidentally. As long as there is attachment to difference and attachment to samsara, one must diligently engage in the path of the ten virtuous actions and abandon its faults, and in the mandala and so forth, prostrating to stupas, and engaging in stupa activities, and so forth. Furthermore, because it is reasonable and connected to the words of the Blessed One, which do not deceive the main purpose of beings. Similarly, it is said in the Garland [of Precious Gems]: 'If one relies on non-duality, the world beyond.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If it can be removed, shouldn't it also be done to this (self-nature)? This (self-nature) itself is the place of abiding. If one is satisfied with non-duality, then all will be liberated. If it is said to enter into conventional truth, then one should also contemplate the next life.' The Guru's teachings also say: 'As long as there is conventional truth, one should abandon evil and accumulate merit and gather accumulations.' Then, arising from that samadhi, contemplate oneself and others as the form of Heruka, and with an undistracted mind, perform meritorious deeds such as listening and speaking. This was also recorded by the venerable one himself. Sarva Mangalam.
