Whatever the nature of body and speech, as long as it is free from various appearances, those are the appearances of Mudra (手印) and Mantra (真言). This is what the Tathagatas (如来) have said. Being free from the appearance of the grasped, etc., is because there is no appearance of it at that time. Therefore, whatever appears is the path to entering the correct terminology. Just as when the nature of mind is fully clear and experiences bliss, that is not suffering, and all appearances are visible. Likewise, if the material itself is self-illuminating, then it cannot be material. Even if it is wrong, the light cannot be observed. At that time, just like self-illumination, the image of the Protector (Avalokiteśvara), which is the nature of great bliss, except for appearing as the form of Yoginis (瑜伽母) etc., there is no other luminous nature appearing. If the appearance of the Yoginis is like the light of a pillar, then although this is not different, it can be seen, just like the nature of the sky. Or, at the same time, because it can be observed simultaneously, if it is like the horns on the left and right, then what is the grasping of the grasped? Even at different times, when one appears, the other cannot be observed, so there is no entity of the grasped and the grasper. Satisfaction and awakening, etc., are internal appearances, while happiness, etc., is the nature, and blue, etc., is the external grasped. Therefore, what is said is unspeakable, because what is obvious is external and internal. It cannot be said 'is', because what is obvious is without discrimination. Because the object of discrimination obtained after that has no entity. For inference, pervasion is also not established. Therefore, the wisdom of the Mandala (坛城) of the five self-natures is neither one nor many, neither different nor non-different, neither with entity nor without entity, because it is empty of all discriminations. Without discrimination, free from the appearance of the grasped, etc., is the nature of secrecy. Born from the cause of the nature of bliss, experiencing the non-dual appearance of the nature of bliss, contradicting the Saṃsāra (轮回) characterized by clinging to self and what belongs to self, is a Dharma (法) that is completely without decay, because it is harmless and is the nature of true meaning. Because the mind inclines towards that direction, it is obvious. Whatever is observed simultaneously with it is very familiar. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The function of the antidote is solely to completely eradicate things that are incompatible with itself. Anything that becomes very familiar will approach clarity through the power of meditation. Desires and sorrows, etc., will become pervasive, and the ordinary pride and ordinary conceptualizations that are incompatible with one's own nature will be completely eliminated. Because formless consciousness is not even experienced in dreams, it is not an antidote at all. Even when viewing in the manner of the pāramitās (perfections), although one possesses the view of selflessness like an illusion, giving, etc., are antidotes to ordinary conceptualizations. Even so, it does not change the ordinary state, and both ordinary conceptualizations and the ordinary state are to be abandoned. If it is said that giving, etc., will bring great enjoyment, and that the ripening result of giving, etc., will lead to the attainment of a body possessing the thirty-two major marks and eighty minor marks of a great being, then these are the characteristics of directly and inferentially experiencing the actions and their results. They do not prove that these are the marks of a great being. Furthermore, through the power of meditation, why can't one achieve the simultaneous contemplation of all perfect resources, the contemplation of a body blazing with marks and signs, and the clear appearance of the essence of the maṇḍala (circle) wheel simply through correct awareness? This meaning was also spoken by the lama (teacher): 'The form body is the dharma body, practicing it accomplishes; why doubt it? One will definitely attain enlightenment. If the dharma body is attained through the meditation of the Victorious Ones, why not meditate on the form body?' If it is said that the form body is attained through the accumulation of merit, then this takes a long time and the effect is inferior. The difference in the result comes from the difference in the cause; the three bodies appear simultaneously.' Or, the selflessness that arises from giving, etc., from the causes of excessive exaggeration of clinging to one's own form, etc., actually compensates for these defects, but even so, it is not contradictory to the suffering of saṃsāra (cyclic existence). Because even if there is giving, etc., they arise from an ordinary self-nature, and therefore cannot prevent the suffering of saṃsāra. The meaning is: temporarily giving, etc., from the perspective of sentient beings does not prevent the suffering of saṃsāra. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
