Now, I make offerings and dedications. Through this dedication, may all beings enjoy the perfect pleasures of desire that are in accordance with their respective positions and classes, and may they be endowed with the excellent fortune of high rebirth and definite goodness of liberation, and ultimately attain the state of perfect enlightenment of the Buddha! In order to satisfy the remaining ones, I give! These are all expressions of the various aspects of meaning through sets of ten, each set containing twelve kinds of meanings, and elaborate on the wishes and so on. The final task involves five aspects: requesting forgiveness for faults, sending off the Torma guests, guarding against disturbances from spirits, performing sutras and exorcism rituals, and summarizing the dedication and aspiration prayers. Some people prefer brevity, or sometimes do not have time, or focus on the inner meaning, or some people are unable to elaborate in detail due to lack of wisdom. For these people, all parts of the meaning should be completed. When entertaining guests through a brief ceremony, recite the names of the guests during the welcoming and make offerings, and during the activity ritual, recite: 'I pray that I and all sentient beings will ultimately attain the precious state of perfect enlightenment of the Buddha, and temporarily eliminate the adverse conditions and obstacles to the Holy Dharma, and that favorable conditions will be fulfilled as desired.' Similarly, I pray that you accomplish activities, I pray that you make aspirations, I pray that you help me accomplish everything! And so on. If the Torma is given for the benefit of patrons and others, then during the activity ritual, recite 'the retinue headed by the patron' and so on. In short, all situations should be applied flexibly according to the specific circumstances. After completing these, water should be given. Visualize yourself instantly transforming from ཧྲཱིཿ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, Shame) into white Avalokiteśvara, one face and two arms, the right hand giving the Varada mudra, the left hand giving the protection mudra. From the fingertips of the right hand flows a stream of wisdom nectar, flowing into the mouths of the pretas, pacifying their suffering of hunger and thirst. Recite in the mouth: ཧྲཱིཿ པཾ་ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུཾ། (Tibetan, Devanagari: ह्रीः,,Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ paṃ oṃ āḥ hūṃ, Shame, Lotus, Om, Ah, Hum) ཨོཾ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུཾ། (Tibetan, Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ, Om Mani Padme Hum) seven, fourteen, or twenty-one times. And dedicate with 'Avalokiteśvara, the crown of the head, the stream of nectar dripping from the palm of the hand' and so on. These are the main rituals. Among the five points mentioned earlier, requesting forgiveness for faults, one can recite the Hundred Syllable Mantra, or for those who are unable to recite the Hundred Syllable Mantra, --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

'Remaining and broken,' etc., and requesting the guests of the Torma offering to depart: 'Om, may you accomplish all the benefits of sentient beings,' etc., reciting བཛྲ་མུཿ (藏文), वज्र मुः (梵文天城体), Vajra Muh (梵文罗马拟音), Vajra Muh: , may the past guests depart. In order to guard against obstacles created by spirits, with the mantra of Vajra Krodha, relying on the pride of any Dharma protector, by reciting its mantra to eliminate obstacles, thereby guarding against obstacles created by spirits. When performing sutras and exorcism rituals, recite the 'Heart Sutra'. The exorcism ritual should be performed according to the ritual. Conclude by dedicating and making aspirations: 'May all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas abiding in the ten directions heed me. With this great generosity, may I become a self-born Buddha for the benefit of beings. May I liberate those beings who have not been liberated by the Buddhas of the past. Whatever spirits have come here, whether dwelling on the earth or in the sky, may they always cherish loving-kindness towards beings and practice the Dharma day and night,' etc. And, 'By the compassion of the supreme and peerless Guru, and by the blessings of the truth of the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Arhats, may the dedication and aspirations be accomplished,' etc., dedicate. This is the heart practice of Dharma King Losang Drakpa (Tsongkhapa), requested by Lama Pelden Zepa. Now, one should offer Torma to one's own local deity, doing as in the section on local deities in the aforementioned hundred offering ritual. The difference is that the object of the Torma dedication is: the local deities residing in this place, dwelling in this area, the local gods, the village gods, etc., and all the gods, nagas, yakshas, rakshasas, etc., who rule and protect this land, all the beings who originally dwell here. I give and dedicate this offering to them. May we and our retinue, at any time, place, or circumstance, whether walking, staying, sitting, or lying down, not be jealous, safeguard the sacred oath between the host and the guest, pacify all obstacles to Dharma practice, and please help me to accomplish all favorable conditions as desired.' Give in this way. Among the six paramitas, the paramita of generosity is the most supreme. And among generosity, Torma is the best of generosity. Therefore, renunciants should diligently engage in the hundred Torma offerings, which have small input and large returns, and possess the three characteristics of generosity. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
