In Sanskrit: Ārya Maṅgala Kuṭa Nāma Mahāyāna Sūtra. In Tibetan: The Sutra of the Great Vehicle named 'Noble Auspicious Accumulation'. Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! Thus have I heard at one time. The Blessed One dwelt on the excellent mountain peak, in the palace of Auspicious Accumulation, in the garden of Flower Accumulation, in the tent of Vajra Accumulation, on a throne piled with jewels, upon a lotus stamen cushion. 于是（他）这样禀告道：世尊，在这吉祥圆满的眷属众多的场合，首先吉祥且善妙，中间吉祥且善妙，最后吉祥且善妙，息灭一切不吉祥，汇集一切吉祥，消除罪过，汇集一切美好的功德，祈请您宣说一个带来光荣和好运的经典。说完之后，世尊面露微笑，这样说道：文殊，还有其他吉祥圆满的眷属们，请听着。我过去以婆罗门之身，在这娑婆世界的国土中，寿命能活到一千岁的时候，听闻了圆满正等觉佛，名为吉祥一切生光荣，所说的《吉祥积聚》大乘经典，名为《具千功德》的法类，听闻之后，受持、背诵、读诵、讲述。因为这个世界的国土中，好坏的影响，出现了很多不吉祥的征兆，比如时辰不好，出生不好，年月不吉祥等等，做事不好，吃饭不好，缝衣服不好，盖房子不好，找朋友不好，藏钱不好，牲畜交配不好，生病不好，死亡不好，上路不好，抬尸体不好，埋葬不好，墓地选择等等，能完全息灭一切不吉祥，能完全汇集一切吉祥，能完全消除一切罪过，能完全汇集一切美好的功德，能带来光荣和好运，从始至终都是善妙的，能完全聚集一切福德，能显现和知晓一切吉祥之聚，能使一切罪障消除，我将为你宣说《大吉祥积聚经》。仅仅是听闻、书写、念诵，就能完全息灭一切不吉祥，能遣除恶卦、恶兆、恶卜、一切恶相的经藏，为了利益、医治、安乐一切有情，我将为你宣说，好好听着，记在心里。

Then (he) reported as follows: World Honored One, in this auspicious and perfect gathering of many retinues, may it be auspicious and virtuous at the beginning, auspicious and virtuous in the middle, auspicious and virtuous at the end, pacifying all inauspiciousness, gathering all auspiciousness, eliminating faults, gathering all good qualities, please teach a sutra that brings glory and good fortune. After saying this, the World Honored One smiled and said: Manjushri, and other auspicious and perfect retinues, please listen. In the past, as a Brahmin, in this realm of the Saha world, when I could live for a thousand years, I heard the perfectly enlightened Buddha, named Auspicious All-Arising Glory, speak the Mahayana sutra called "Auspicious Accumulation," a Dharma category called "Possessing a Thousand Virtues." After hearing it, I upheld, recited, read, and taught it. Because of the good and bad influences in this realm, many inauspicious signs appeared, such as bad times, bad births, inauspicious years and months, etc., bad deeds, bad eating, bad sewing, bad house building, bad friend finding, bad money hiding, bad livestock mating, bad sickness, bad death, bad road taking, bad corpse carrying, bad burial, bad tomb selection, etc., it can completely pacify all inauspiciousness, completely gather all auspiciousness, completely eliminate all faults, completely gather all good qualities, bring glory and good fortune, be virtuous from beginning to end, completely gather all merits, reveal and know all auspicious gatherings, and eliminate all sins and obscurations. I will teach you the "Great Auspicious Accumulation Sutra." Just by hearing, writing, or reciting it, it can completely pacify all inauspiciousness, and dispel bad omens, bad portents, bad divination, and all bad signs. For the benefit, healing, and happiness of all sentient beings, I will teach you, listen carefully and keep it in mind.
