Seeing the Bodhisattva's body soaked in blood, for a moment the flesh and blood of the body were gone. Then, thinking of the great sound that shook the earth, he said: Great courage is also conquered by impermanence. Then the two young princes returned from that path and went to the tigress, and saw the clothes hanging on the banyan branches, the flesh and bones separated, the blood turned into mud, and the hair scattered in all directions. After seeing this, they raised their hands and beat themselves, crying with a miserable sound. Alas, how sad! The mother, tormented by extreme sadness, will ask us about the youngest son. Alas, it is better for us two to die here, it is impossible to live. Then the young attendants ran together to look for the young man. The queen dreamed in her sleep that two breasts were cut off, teeth fell out, and one of the three chicks was taken away by an eagle. Then the queen was frightened by the earthquake, woke up immediately, was physically and mentally exhausted, and huddled up. The servants said to the queen: You have lost a beloved son. Then the queen, her heart pounding and her eyes filled with tears, said to the king: What happened to the youngest son? They said: Good lady, do not grieve. Alas, alas, separated from my beloved son, how sad! The sound of grief from the king, queen, and attendants was like hitting a camel with a stick, unbearable. Thus, the three sons, with a group of servants, entered the forest of flowers, and saw the son's bones, without flesh and blood, and the hair scattered everywhere. The queen fell face down like a tree blown by the wind. Struggling on the ground like a stranded fish, or crying sadly like losing a camel or buffalo calf. After waking up, he said: Alas, this is the result of a dream! The king, queen, and army together worshiped the son's bones and stayed there. At that time, the king who had become young, the great being

Oh, do you think in your heart that it is something else? Do not look at it that way. Why is that? At that time, at that moment, I became a prince named Young Great Mind (Bodhisattva). Ananda, even when greed, hatred, ignorance, and the three poisons have not been completely liberated, one can benefit all sentient beings suffering in hell and other realms of suffering and evil deeds, and be free from all faults, let alone truly and completely attain Buddhahood? Therefore, for the sake of each and every sentient being, I have helped the mind of sentient beings to be liberated from various difficult tasks. Then, the Blessed One spoke these verses at that time: For the sake of supreme Bodhi, from countless eons, many times the body of a king was given as alms. In a previous lifetime, he was called Great Chariot, and his son was called Great Courage. The names were Great Sound and Great God, and the son and army walked in the forest clearing. He saw a tigress extremely emaciated from hunger. Seeing the tigress starving and thirsty, he gave alms, generating a vast Bodhicitta. He himself rolled down the steep hillside. He saw wild animals walking in the darkness. When entering the forest without support, the tigress lay there weakly. He saw the mouths of the tigress and her cubs covered in blood. He saw hair and bones scattered slightly on the ground. Raising his hands, he cried and fell to the ground, the sound of sorrow and memory vanished, his mind distracted, his body felt as if pierced by needles. All the ministers and attendants, by the blessings of the Buddhas' compassion, the king, queen, and attendants, departed as if awakened from a dream. Look at this self-manifested Dharma nature, once you see the essence of the holy one. King Suddhodana's consort, the illusory lotus woman, is the courageous Shakyamuni himself. The Great God and Great Sound are Manjushri and Maitreya. The one who became the tigress is the mother of all beings, and the tiger cubs became the five Bhikkhus. After the Blessed One spoke thus, the venerable Ananda and the monks rose from the forest full of thorny tigers, sat before the Blessed One, and addressed the Blessed One in this way.
