To. World Honored One, what is the meaning of this 'Zama Tok'? How should it be understood? The World Honored One taught: The name of the Tigress 'Zama Tok' should be viewed as the Dharma of the cause, should be viewed as the Dharma of the result, should be viewed as the Dharma of the ultimate, should be viewed as the Dharma of the base, should be viewed as the Dharma of the path, should be viewed as the Dharma of purity, should be viewed as emptiness, should be viewed as signlessness, should be viewed as wishlessness. Then, the Tigress rose from the ground, and the Tigress offered flowers of the gods, lotus flowers, Mandarava flowers, great Mandarava flowers, Champaka flowers, Utpala flowers, and many fragrant scents to the World Honored One. After the Tigress prostrated and circumambulated the World Honored One, she entered the thorny forest and disappeared. Then, the Venerable Ananda asked the World Honored One: Who is the Tigress? Why is she called Tigress? After asking this, the World Honored One taught the Venerable Ananda and the monks: Ananda, the so-called Tigress, in the past, there was a king named Great Chariot King, whose army and mounts were numerous, endowed with strength, surrounded by many retinues, and who destroyed the enemy's camp with unobstructed power. He had three sons like gods, named Great Voice, Heavenly Voice, and Great Strength. Then, the princes came to the pleasure garden to play, and those young men were fascinated by the virtues of the pleasure garden, and they chased each other because they coveted flowers, and entered the twelve layers of dense forest. Then, they got lost, and the young attendants were also driven away by the princes and scattered. They entered the twelve layers of dense forest of the completely guarded great pleasure garden. Then, Great Voice said to his two younger brothers: I am overwhelmed by fear, we may be killed by wild animals here, come here! Heavenly Voice said: I have no fear, but the thought of separating from bad people is my wish. Great Strength said: In this quiet forest praised by the Able One, I am neither afraid nor sad.

Thinking that I had gained a great benefit, my heart was filled with joy. Then, as the young princes walked through those twelve dense forests, they saw a tigress who had given birth to cubs seven days ago, surrounded by five cubs, weakened by hunger and thirst, and her body was extremely emaciated. Seeing this, they exclaimed loudly: Alas! This wretched tigress, who gave birth to cubs six or seven days ago, has not yet found food. Either she will eat her own children, or she will die of starvation. The great-hearted one said: What does this wretched tigress eat? A loud voice said: Here, fresh meat and warm blood are the food of tigers, bears, brown bears, and lions. So they said. The great god said: To protect this wretched tigress from hunger, who can give up their own body? The great courageous one said: Those who cannot give up their body are the small-minded and attached ones. For someone like me, who has no attachment or clinging to this body, now is the time to give it up. Then, the young prince, with a heart of compassion, gazed at the tigress for a long time without blinking. The young prince returned to the edge of the forest and then went to the tigress. Then, he hung the king's clothes on a branch of the forest, and made the aspiration: May I attain wisdom like the ocean, pure and undefiled Bodhi! Then he lay down. Because the tigress was weak, she did nothing to the loving Bodhisattva. Then, the Bodhisattva thought: Alas! This wretched tigress is too weak to do anything. Then, the Bodhisattva stood up and searched for a weapon of wisdom, but found nothing. There, he picked up a hard branch of a tree and cut his own neck, then lay down in front of the tigress. As soon as the Bodhisattva fell, the earth shook in six ways, like a boat on water being moved by the wind. It shook violently, it shook universally, and the sun and moon also disappeared like they were obscured by Rahu. A rain of divine incense fell. Then, a god was amazed. Then, that tigress
