《Noble Ākāśagarbha》 Called the Great Vehicle Sutra. 《Noble Ākāśagarbha》 Called the Great Vehicle Sutra. The Great Vehicle Sutra called "Noble Ākāśagarbha" is present. In Sanskrit: Ārya Akasha Garbha Nāma Mahāyāna Sūtra. In Tibetan: The Great Vehicle Sutra called "Noble Ākāśagarbha". Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! Thus have I heard. Once, the Blessed One was at Rikhala Tika, in the abode of the sages who can abide, together with a great Saṅgha of monks, an immeasurable number of great Śrāvakas. Thus, also abiding together with a great Saṅgha of Bodhisattvas, great beings, as many as the sands of the Ganges, inconceivable and countless. Immediately after the completion of the prophecy of the Tathāgata's glorious Samaya, at that time, in the west, hundreds of thousands of millions of precious jewels held by Indra surrounded it, and a polished wish-fulfilling jewel appeared in front. And again, by the light of that precious jewel, in this three-thousand great-thousand world realm, all appearances of form completely disappeared. Except for the Tathāgata, whatever gods and humans, whatever Śrāvakas, whatever Bodhisattvas, whatever earth, fire, water, and wind, all the great elements that appear as form, all those great elements that appear were completely abandoned, and the precious jewel appeared. The remainder was also limitless, boundless, inexpressible, appearing like the sky. The Blessed One also became very bright, vivid, and clear. Whatever sentient beings were assembled there, they could not see themselves, nor could they see each other. For them, all appearances of the great elements ceased, and they no longer appeared to the eye. One could not perceive the form, name, shape, or touch of one's own body, and whatever one examined, one saw that those were empty. The circles of the sun and moon were also not visible, nor were the shapes of the stars, the earth element, or water.

The element of earth, the element of fire, and the element of wind did not appear before the eyes. Sounds did not resonate in the ear canals. Smells were not sensed in the nose. For the mind and mental factors, there was no sense of ownership, and the consciousness of the six sense bases did not arise. Furthermore, the great elements were also imperceptible, and in whatever direction one examined, in all those directions, only the marks, colors, shapes, and forms of the body of the Tathagata were seen. From afar, only the wish-fulfilling jewel surrounded by the jewels held by Indra was visible, and nothing else appeared. There, bodhisattvas abiding on the ten bhumis, having attained the Samadhi of Heroic Progress, those with only one lifetime remaining, the last existences, having seen this, did not fear, did not panic, did not become frightened. Because they realized that all dharmas possess the ultimate reality of their own nature, suchness, and emptiness, therefore, they did not fear, did not panic, did not become frightened. The remaining Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas, as well as the Shravakas, Devas, Nagas, Yakshas, Gandharvas, Asuras, Garudas, Kinnaras, Mahoragas, Kumbhandas, Pretas, Rakshasas, Putanas, Kataputanas, humans, and non-humans who had gathered, all became frightened, panicked, and despondent. They were confused about this shore and the other shore, their minds were disturbed, and they could not even see one another. There, they could not even ask, "What is this?", "What is it like?", "What is its nature?". Then, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva named Brahma's Nail, bowed down with folded hands in the presence of the Bhagavan and requested: Those who do not understand the nature of all dharmas, being attached to the skandha of form, are bewildered by the six senses. They do not see a single skandha, yet they cling to the skandha of form. Among these people, some have doubts about the Buddha's teachings. Bhagavan.
