There is no teaching more supreme than this. It elucidates many characteristics, such as the method of establishing through reasoning, the method of establishing through scriptures like the Root Tantra of Sound Transformation, and the agreement of many learned and accomplished masters. In the context of "ye nas gnas pa gzhi (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,Ground of Being)", the ground is when obscured by obscurations; awakening this ground through the guru's instructions is the path; and in the relationship of action and result from the realization of that path, the state of being free from all defilements is the result. The obscurations are the obscuration of the flesh and blood body, the obscuration of habitual tendencies of the mind, and the obscuration of the alaya-vijnana, the unlabelled consciousness. Although these three obscurations obscure the naturally pure essence, the examples of its purity are like a jewel in mud, a mirror's frame, or a sword in its sheath, as stated in many sutras and tantras. In the sutras, there are different views on the teaching of the Tathagatagarbha. Later scholars consider the intermediate turning of the wheel to be definitive in meaning, and the final Tathagatagarbha to be provisional in meaning. Others, the Shentongpas, consider the final teaching to be definitive in meaning. As stated in the Uttaratantra, it is characterized by distinctions, the nature of emptiness is empty of adventitious stains, and it is characterized by non-distinction, not empty of the supreme Dharma. The Nyingma school's own view is to combine the intermediate and final turnings, adopting the meaning of the union of dharmadhatu and jnana from sutra to tantra. Moreover, in the context of Anuttarayoga, the first turning of the wheel concerns the two truths of samsara. By transforming afflictions into awakening, the truth of the origin becomes the path, and the truth of suffering, the container and contents of samsara, becomes the truth of cessation, body and wisdom, which are used as the path. Therefore, if it is corrupted by other paths, it not only does not benefit but causes great harm, like a disaster in a rich man's granary (garden annotation). If these two are grasped separately, one falls into the extremes of eternalism and nihilism, as Mipham Rinpoche stated. Also, as it is said that in the state of the complete transformation of the Buddha's state, the wisdom of omniscient jnana is constant. The Nyingma school holds that from sutra to tantra, wisdom is constant. In the intermediate and final teachings, the meaning of indicating dharmadhatu and jnana is the method of manifesting the union of dharmadhatu and jnana in one's own mindstream. The meaning of the Mind Section, Space Section, and Instruction Section of the Great Perfection, the pinnacle of Anuttara Tantra, also embodies the nature of the union of dharmadhatu and jnana, the three aspects of one's own mindstream.
