The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions are also invited in the same manner as the deities of the seven-limbed offering, and they are absorbed from all parts of the body. In the front generation, the mantra of the deity of how to generate is added with Abhesha to descend. Although it is said in the empowerment ritual of the Great Illusionary Body that the eyes should be covered when descending wisdom, it is not done in practice. The abbreviated five preliminary practices are: After offering the mandala, pray with "Great Bliss, You are my teacher," etc. Take refuge in the Three Jewels, etc. Perform daily confession. Generate the Moon Vajrasattva, pour the oath water to make vows, and descend wisdom after praying, etc. The old books say that all empowerment lineages should do these ten preliminary practices. It would be good if you could do that. Because for a very brief main practice ritual, the extensive preliminary practices are not appropriate, so in practice, the extensive empowerment of the five deities of Hevajra and the Great Illusionary Body do these ten preliminary practices, and others do these five preliminary practices, which will accomplish the wish and is very good. Our revered guru is actually no different from the Buddha, and as an example, when writing the key points of the completion stage, his wisdom is vast, especially in the aspect of this teaching, the experience and practice of hearing, thinking, and meditating are integrated in five ways, and I simplify it according to his practice. Others now, in the aspect of this Dharma, some who claim to be proficient actually only know how to recite Om So. This brief preliminary practice ritual was also spoken by Taranatha. Sarva Mangalam (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思: सर्व मङ्गलम् ,sarva maṅgalam,All auspiciousness). May virtue and goodness increase. By the virtue of this writing, may karmic obscurations be purified. May there be auspiciousness and well-being! The difference between the ten and five preliminary practices for the great and small empowerment lineages of the Wisdom Dakini Niguma.
