Herein is The Source of Bliss, Explanation of the Measurements of the Buddha's Body. Om Svasti. Having paid homage to the Buddha, this is called The Source of Bliss, Explanation of the Measurements of the Buddha's Body. Having paid homage to the Buddhas and their sons, who are the basis of all perfect virtue and goodness, I will briefly write down the essence of what is well-spoken in the sutras and tantras regarding the classification of body measurements. Thus, in the thirtieth chapter of the explanatory tantra of glorious Chakrasamvara, called 'The Emergence of Samvara,' it is said: The extent and characteristics of the forms of the deities' images; The mantra of Brahma's image; Five parts are the seat; The body has three parts: face, ears, and shoulders; The face has twelve parts, four fingers are the neck; The head and hairline, similarly, the two ears are well-defined; Forehead, nose, and all the faces, the face is three parts in measure; The edge of the eyebrows and the upper part of the face, the eyes are two fingers in measure; These are the transverse measurements, divided into four fingers; The middle of the neck is the middle; From the measure of the wealth deity, two palms; The position of the heart and the navel, all are one palm in measure; The space between the breasts is one palm, from the breasts to the center of the chest; The hand is three palms in measure, the head of this hand is two palms; Possessing four fingers, the thighs and shins are also like that; Each part is four fingers in measure, likewise the foot is also one palm; From the sole of the foot to the top of the head is twelve palms, when drawing the image of a deity; The remainder of four fingers, the seat is eight fingers in measure; The connection between the seat and the seat, is two fingers and fingers in measure; The essence is the lunar mandala, weapons, clothes, and so on are made; The profound Vajra deities, twelve palms are the characteristic; The measure of the lower parts and so on, should be drawn nearly beautiful and beautiful; Its extent is one palm, the two hands should be the same; Two fingers should be discarded, when drawing peaceful deities; The belly should always be joyful, two fingers should be discarded; Intervals and

In all places, Wrathful One, Wrathful Mother, and the Goddess of Power, what does it matter to be a servant or a slave? A fierce and terrifying form, manifestly depicted with ten hand spans. A beautiful and pleasing form, manifestly depicted with nine hand spans. Thus it is said. Depicting beauty and extreme beauty. In the extensive explanation of this: Three things that are long are great faults: the spine, the throat, and the buttocks. The nose, ears, fingers, etc., these three being short are great faults. The buttocks, feet, cheeks, etc., these three being thick are great faults. The cheeks, chest, and ribs, these three being thin are great faults. The breasts, ears, and forehead, these three being crooked are great faults. The thighs, waist, and the two inner chambers, these three being thin are great faults. If the left eye, nose, and ear, the lips and forehead are damaged, and so on. The backrest, umbrella, and cushion, these three being small and narrow are faults. Thus it is also said. Likewise, all the characteristics are perfectly complete, the beautiful form of the ritual is visible. For the peaceful, there is a peaceful form; for the fierce and terrifying, there is a fierce one; for the brave and arrogant, the body is heroic; the laughing face is charming. Thus it is said. Here, the first two lines are a brief indication. The term "ཁྱོན (khyon)" refers to length and width. The term "ཚངས་པའི་རི་མོ (tshangs pa'i ri mo)" refers to the compass line, which must be drawn before drawing the body image. The term "five-part cushion" refers to the explanation of the smallest size of the cushion on which the Buddha images sit. The term "three parts of the body" refers to the equal parts from the crown of the head to the end of the secret place, from there to the end of the lower chest, and from there to the secret place. The term "shoulders equal to the face" refers to the distance from the lower end of the throat to the tips of the arms on the left and right, which is the size equal to the width of the face, which is a rough calculation. One-twelfth of the face is called a finger, the height of the throat and forehead, the width of the ears, the forehead and nose, and the parts of the face are all four fingers. The term "of the faces" here, the term "face" refers to the mouth, and the part of the face refers to the distance from below the tip of the nose to the tip of the chin. The meaning of "head and hairline" is translated as the position of the head and hair, the position of the head or the position of the hair is the height of the forehead, and in accordance with the Tibetan language, it is the hairline of the head or
