What is the greatest accumulation? It is wanting to obtain what is most unnecessary. It takes bad omens as nourishment. The four methods of counteracting inverted suppression are: borderlands, etc., as mentioned above. If one feels happy, it is because one wants to do all sorts of unlawful things, looking at the essence of happiness, happiness is not truly existent. It is merely the appearance of happiness, which is given to all sentient beings. One is conquered, so one is suppressed. If there is even a little suffering, one feels disgusted. The appearance of suffering is like a dream or illusion. Searching for it, one cannot find it. On top of that appearance, one piles up all the things that sentient beings do not want. The giver and receiver of suffering are both empty, so it is the greatest accumulation. If bad omens and illusions appear, all sorts of discriminations arise, thinking that one needs this and that. On top of this self-grasping, one thinks of piling up all the bad omens, not letting pride enter, and just leaving it like that. When all the unnecessary things come down, one thinks: Self-grasping, this is exactly what you need. Thinking of letting it be destroyed, then one puts it down with ease. Furthermore, if one is alone, one feels lonely. Controlled by bad karma, the mind is uneasy. Staying inside, one wants to go out; staying on the mountain, one wants to go down to the valley; going to the valley, one misses the mountain retreat, and so on. From the stages of the Bodhisattva: Again and again moving one's dwelling place, when knowledge is not satisfying and one feels sad, one rebukes oneself like this: Your habit is like this, this dwelling is often the best. This mind is all good. Otherwise, with your ability to endure suffering, you should feel fortunate before falling into hell, you should feel fortunate before experiencing burning and roasting. And so on. Furthermore, one should think deeply about fear, and severely rebuke oneself. One should deprive oneself of food, and practice asceticism. One should deprive oneself of clothing, and choose inferior things. Disregarding pleasure and pain, one should cultivate the antidote. When one is sick, one becomes the attendant of the sick, and when one is sick, one blames the attendant. Thinking that one should do something better than this, or thinking that I am kind to this person, etc., when one thinks like this, being sick is because of clinging to the self. No one else is at fault. If the attendant and medicine are helpful, then look at it. Don't say that you haven't done this before. Now, for you who are completely attached, it is satisfying that such a thing has happened, and putting it down like this, you can leave with ease. I am,

The root of evil is the Dharma that is cast away far. The other is the source of merit, the Dharma that is tightly grasped. The two antidotes for gathering together are needed to subdue the borderlands. To endure evil deeds in a degenerate age, it is needed in the degenerate age. Abandoning one's own faults and grasping onto benefiting others, all mind training is contained within these two. Stare evilly at evil, stare and stare. Loosen and loosen, relax and let go. Therefore, one desires to be liberated without being bound. Whatever thoughts arise, the mind wanders away because of them. Inwardly, stare evilly at evil. Stare at the essence of things. On the essence of that thing, loosen and loosen, relax and let go. Thus, the Great Vehicle mind training instructions, although there are countless methods of guidance from the oral transmission of Jowo. All practices are contained within this root of the seven points. This statement was also made by Gyaltsenpa Taranatha, mentioning the name of the venerable and supreme Lama for the sake of the meaning. The venerable and glorious Taglungpa the Great is the embodiment of all Buddhas of the past, present, and future. The mind training guide at the feet of Je Ngawang Kunga Lekdrup Tashi Gyaltsen Pal Zangpo is a memorandum without omissions. Please write everything down, and after accepting the command, only the essence was recorded. At the age of twenty-six, on the eleventh day of the Sagittarius month, at the sacred site Namgyal Rabten. The scribe is Kunga Dargye. Auspicious! Proofread! Here it is said: From the venerable Marme Dze Pal, the method of exchanging self and others that has been transmitted. This instruction, fixed as the seven points, is the heart of the practice of Tibetan and Chinese scholars. These well-known virtues, with the commentary by Jamgon Kunga Nyingpo, this inexhaustible Dharma giving of this work, by the virtue created by Tsultrim Zangpo, may the excellent Bodhicitta be born in the minds of all motherly sentient beings.
