In general, the order in which the founders of the various schools appeared is not like that. The reason why so many temporary differences of opinion arise is that they mostly originate from the same root. So, what is this single root? The Venerable Panchen Shakya considered that non-dual wisdom is not unique, but has many forms, and is impermanent, not abiding for a moment. The omniscient Jonangpas, on the other hand, believed that although in reality it is neither one nor many, it is reasonable to establish the concept of uniqueness on a temporary level, and that it is permanent, indivisible, all-pervasive, free from elaboration, and inexpressible. This is mainly because of their different views on permanence and impermanence. They all believe that the dharmadhatu transcends words and concepts, and that non-discriminating wisdom is an infallible object, so there is no difference in the final point. Therefore, the great Jonangpa Venerable understood that because it is indivisible and all-pervasive, the environment and beings, as well as the three bases, paths, and results, have the same nature for all Buddhas and sentient beings. For this reason, the Tathagatagarbha is endowed with all good qualities. Also for this reason, it will not be harmed by the reasoning of dependent origination and non-one-or-many, so it can be analyzed. Because of this, the uncommon tenet of Svatantrika-Prasaṅgika, which believes that it will be destroyed by analysis, is wrong, so the view of Svatantrika-Prasaṅgika is incorrect. Therefore, through rational analysis, it can be known that it does not contradict the intention of the intermediate turning of the wheel of Dharma, etc. The Ornament of Sutras says that it teaches the One Vehicle and prevents the extinction of the ultimate lineage. This refers to the one difference mentioned earlier, which does not rely on itself, but other schools rely on the previous point. Therefore, if one holds this ultimate and definitive tenet, it is equivalent to holding the secret treasury of the minds of all Buddhas of the past, present, and future. When the omniscient Jonangpa Venerable uttered this lion's roar of true meaning, the fortunate five-faced Yamaraja practitioners of that time were very happy, but later the foxes with little merit were afraid, as it is said: "Why is the profound not the object of discrimination, why can the profound meaning liberate?" Later, the Sakya, Gelug, and Kagyu schools and the Shalu school appeared.

Two holes. Including some Nyingma followers, upon hearing this doctrine, some are heartbroken, some become dizzy, and being deluded by wrong views, they become ignorant, thereby engaging in slander and widely proclaiming seemingly reasonable but erroneous statements, becoming noisy and clamorous. However, regarding the profound meaning, some who possess good fortune, if examined properly by the wise, will not be frightened by this Dharma. In this way, the phenomenon of obtaining the three kinds of faith will occur even in this degenerate age. That is to say, here, the true permanence is not the permanence that merely negates impermanence, nor is it the permanence of non-entity. It is not the constant permanence, nor is it the permanence of conditioned phenomena. It is not the permanence as conceived by non-Buddhists, nor is it the permanence that is impossible to exist in the knowable. It is not merely the permanence of negation, nor is it merely the universal truth. It is not considered to be such a permanence that possesses autonomy. This is free from elaboration; it is the immutable realm that is liberated from both the impermanence of affirming entities and the permanence of negating entities. It is liberated from the characteristics of permanence, and also liberated from the elaborations of permanence, but because it is immutable, it is only permanence. Then, if it is liberated from the characteristics and elaborations of impermanence, why would it not become impermanent? If that nature had a stable part of change, that would be true, but because there is no such thing, the distinction of establishing it as impermanent is not made. Because it is free from the elaborations of permanence and impermanence. It is not the permanence of elaboration, nor is it the impermanence of elaboration. Although it is not like that, because there cannot be impermanence free from elaboration, it is not like that. The so-called permanence free from elaboration is the most secret of the profound meanings of the core sutras of all the Victors. If one is wise and virtuous and possesses excellent blessings and power, one will gain faith in this. Not merely by relying on self-proclaimed wisdom. The twenty-one special profound meanings, spoken by Tāranātha for the benefit of those of lesser intelligence. Proofread once. May there be auspiciousness! Twenty-one Profound Meanings.
