It will definitely exist for sentient beings. Initially, it is not the Dharmakaya, but later it becomes it. That is only the transformation of the essence. Conditioned phenomena never abide, therefore they do not exist. Suchness is definitely unconditioned. It is wisdom that transcends existence and non-existence. Because it is the appearance of unobstructed and unerring wisdom, Even if it is mistaken, it is not mistaken. The ultimate realm is established as true. Conventional knowledge is a deceptive dharma. It is not something to be experienced by matter or non-matter. Therefore, that realm is ultimate wisdom. The Suchness of the realm is virtue, Because it is ultimate virtue, it is the best of virtues. If conventional virtue is virtue itself, Why is ultimate virtue not virtue? As it is said in the *Ghanavyuha Sutra*: "The grounds are the basis of all kinds of things, The Tathagatagarbha is also virtue. The Buddhas teach this basis of everything With the word 'garbha'." And as it is said in the *Abhidharma*: "What is ultimate virtue? It is Suchness." This explains that the Alaya is wisdom, Because it is Suchness, it is only wisdom, Because it is said to be virtue, the Alaya is not the Alaya-consciousness. The Alaya and the Tathagatagarbha are shown, In the *Abhidharma*, Suchness is the cause of Bodhi, because it is said to be unconditioned. The cessation truth of ultimate truth is the only truth, It is not non-material, and it transcends the conventional. Other-emptiness means that one empties the other. Therefore, if one thinks that emptiness is inferior, The Sutra speaks of seven kinds of emptiness. Emptiness of characteristic and emptiness of the nature of things, Emptiness of existence, emptiness of non-existence, Unspeakable emptiness, And the great emptiness of the ultimate truth of noble wisdom, One empties the other is the seventh emptiness. Things are empty of their own and common characteristics, Things are empty of their own nature of arising, The aggregates are empty of self, and the aggregates, etc. Are empty of Nirvana, empty of imagined nature, Ultimate wisdom is empty of the habitual tendencies of wrong views, And the individual characteristics of things, Are explained in order for each emptiness that empties one. The sixth is supreme, the seventh is inferior. The absence of self of a person is always other-empty, However, it is inferior

Just as it is not emptiness, likewise, Suchness, Dharmakaya, and the three truths of the path are said to be ultimate, unchanging, and perfectly established. They are unconditioned and the ultimate truth. In the Five Hundred Prajñāpāramitā, there are also three emptinesses, and three natures are also taught, so one should have faith. This passage shows a slight approximation of the reasonableness of one's own system. Here, with honesty, using scripture and reason, one should analyze the refutations of all other-emptiness views. How many detailed analyses there are elsewhere, and the views of one's own system, should be understood in the treatises. The root of the reasoning of one and separation from many lies in the fact that conditioned phenomena do not abide. Therefore, regarding this and the refutation of self, it is clear in the Ratnavali. In the Twenty Verses, the refutation of external objects is shown. One's own system, mainly distinguishing between the middle and the extremes, is clearly present in all the treatises of the Yogacara school. The extensive reasoning is clearly explained in the Pramāṇavārttika. All of these are unparalleled Madhyamaka treatises. Although scholars have repeatedly explained them, because they are scattered throughout the great treatises, I will explain some easily understandable points, and also develop many new reasonings. In order to dispel the bad reputation of thinking that this extraordinary Great Vehicle is an uncommon Mind-Only school, and especially to refute those who say that relying solely on scripture is sufficient, these reasonings are applied. There are still countless subtle analyses, and although I have the ability to elaborate, I fear that the audience will find it difficult to understand. If it cannot benefit others, then it is unnecessary, so I will not write it here. May all limitless sentient beings, through the virtue of this explanation, fully enter this supreme Great Vehicle Dharma, quickly attain the state of omniscient victorious ones, and enjoy the joy of undefiled Dharma! This is the verse composition called "The Ornament of Other-Emptiness Madhyamaka," composed by Gyal Khampa Tāranātha when he was thirty years old at the retreat place of Jonang. May goodness increase! There are one hundred and fifty-seven new verses. May there be auspiciousness! Proofread. The Ornament of Other-Emptiness Madhyamaka.
