Regarding this joint practice, I, the present Bhagavan Shakyamuni Buddha, rejoice, and all the Tathagatas of the ten directions also rejoice accordingly. Thus, the teacher Shakya Simha declared in the Song of Auspiciousness. The third of the root verses, rejoicing and manifest praise, is: The Bhagavan said, "Thus," and so on. The assembly, doubting whether there was a meaning of Prajnaparamita superior to that previously taught by Avalokiteshvara, the Bhagavan declared, "What is taught by all the Buddhas of the ten directions is also the meaning of Prajnaparamita, and not otherwise." The questioner is Shariputra, and the answerer is the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Arya Avalokiteshvara. "Endowed with all" means "having all," with different places, different lineages, different realms of existence, different forms, different enjoyments, different languages, and so on. "Those assemblies endowed with all" means "rejoicing." To mention the difference between the chief and subordinate members of the assembly endowed with all: the gods who travel in the sky, the humans who travel on the earth, the asuras who travel under the earth, and the gandharvas who travel in the three places. Having mentioned these four main groups, the countless ordinary assemblies of the world rejoice and are satisfied, rejoicing that what Avalokiteshvara said agrees with what the Bhagavan said, trusting in it and manifestly praising it, especially holding it and firmly grasping it. If the Tathagata had not spoken such words of agreement, the assemblies would not have been happy or satisfied because they did not believe. The one to be tamed, following other appearances, Shariputra would also think, "Was my question not timely?" Avalokiteshvara would also think, "Perhaps I did not answer well?" and would become discouraged and full of doubts. When the teacher spoke the words of agreement, "Good," Shariputra was also happy because his question was good, and Arya Avalokiteshvara also knew that his answer was good and was extremely pleased. The other assemblies also believed and cut off their doubts, and obtained satisfaction and contentment. Again, this

If someone says that this profound Sutra belongs to the scriptures of the second turning of the wheel, therefore it is not appropriate to explain the Madhyamaka of Other-Emptiness (gzhan stong). If Other-Emptiness is explained, then there will be no difference between profound and not profound for the middle and the extremes. If such statements arise, then one should say this: The intention of all three turnings of the wheel is the Madhyamaka of Other-Emptiness, and from the first and second turnings, there are also various statements that clearly show the meaning in words. From the Wheel of Definitive Meaning, it is clearer and more extensive than both the first and second turnings, revealed without concealment, or spoken limitlessly. Therefore, there are differences of superior and inferior among the three turnings, and since the meaning is the same, there are no two faults mentioned above. Therefore, the direct teaching of this sutra is that it clearly explains the common Other-Emptiness; and the meaning of the uncommon Tathagatagarbha, that is, the meaning of permanence, stability, eternity, and all aspects, is explained in the manner of hidden meaning.
