Norbu Pandit Yeshe, Sasang Phagpa, Ngorchen Kunga Zangpo, Kunkhyen Gawa Dongpa Chögyal Palzang, Pandit Chenpo Gyalwa Shakya Chokden, Uleg Drupchen Sonam Gyaltsen, Panchen Donyö Drubpa, Jetsun Dampa Kunga Drolchok, Root Guru Dorje Chang Chenpo Drak Topa. From them to me. From the 'Sadhana Precious Source'. The twenty-fifth section, which explains the lineage of the sadhanas. Here it is said: In the realms of samsara and nirvana, the supreme of all perfections, is the path to accomplish unsurpassable enlightenment. If there is no path other than the Vajrayana, then the root of that path is deity yoga. All the sufferings of wandering and exhaustion on the path of samsara, the root of all is ordinary appearance and attachment. Although there are many methods to tame that, deity body yoga alone is the main one. All the supreme deities are one in the nature of wisdom. Since the mere posture of the body cannot induce different interests, they emanate and explain many mandalas. Therefore, we who follow the victors, should not be content with just one, but should diligently maintain the various methods. In this way, the intention of the victors will be fulfilled. Even if one strives alone, if the teachings of the lineage with transmission do not decline, then one can follow and hold various interests, so this is written for the benefit of those. My view is very shallow and unskilled, and although I do not have the wisdom to see reality, I know a little about the great history of Dharma in China and Tibet, and after hearing many instructions, I have compiled this. Although it is difficult for others to enter this way, it is to nourish the habits of my own hearing and to please the supreme deities. It may also slightly benefit those who are fortunate. Thus, from the endless ocean of sadhana water, moistened with the nectar of instructions, I strive to gather the oral instructions, the king of mountains, obtained through the kindness of the supreme master. Urged by the churning rope of the wealth of intelligence, may this light of the sadhana sun always and repeatedly arise day after day in this world. By this merit, may all beings obtain the siddhi of these supreme deities, and in the boundless mandala of stainless purity, enjoy the supreme feast of great bliss.

May there be constant joy! Thus, this is called "The Precious Source of the Sadhana of the Ocean of Deities from the Four Tantras," composed by Gyal Khampa Tāranātha. Initially, after writing some sadhanas, a long time passed. Many virtuous friends also urged the creation of many scattered sadhanas, which became the cause for starting at the age of thirty-two. In the meantime, due to laziness and distraction, a long time was spent. Later, some friends urged completion. It was completed when I was thirty-four years old, initially appearing in the Fire Monkey year of the Rabjung (1656), on the second auspicious day of the wisdom aspect of the autumn month, at the solitary place of Jomo Nang in Pal Nakgyal. May virtue and excellence increase! Various sadhanas, immeasurable.
