The Sadhana of the Five Long-Life Sisters. The Sadhana of the Five Long-Life Sisters. Om Swasti! I prostrate to the Lama, Yidam, and Buddha. To properly accomplish all mantras and knowledge, I will write a brief explanation of the necessary sadhana. Abiding in the self-generation of any Yidam within Secret Mantra, in the sky in front of oneself, is a protective wheel arising from Hūṃ. In the center of the Dharmadhatu of space, in the middle of the immeasurable palace and charnel ground where accomplishments arise, are five lotus seats. In the center, on a moon, is the white Buddha Dakini arising from Oṃ, adorned with the crown of Vairochana, possessing a peaceful demeanor. In the east, on a sun, is the blue Vajra Dakini arising from Hūṃ, adorned with the crown of Akshobhya, possessing a wrathful demeanor. In the south, on a yellow moon, is the yellow Ratna Dakini arising from Traṃ, adorned with the crown of Ratnasambhava, possessing a joyful demeanor. In the west, on a red sun devoid of rays, is the red Padma Dakini arising from Hrīḥ, adorned with the crown of Amitabha, possessing an attached demeanor. In the north, on a multicolored vajra, is the green Karma Dakini arising from A, adorned with the crown of Amoghasiddhi, possessing various demeanors such as wrathful and laughing. All of them shake damarus with their right hands, and hold skull cups filled with nectar at their hearts with their left hands. They are adorned with crowns of five dry human heads, necklaces of fifty wet human heads, and five bone ornaments. Their black hair is half-bound. In the left armpit, is a khatvanga, the nature of skillful means, marked with a wheel, vajra, jewel, lotus, and sword in sequence. They reside amidst blazing five-colored rays of light, surrounded by hundreds of thousands of principal Dakinis identical to themselves, and countless retinue Dakinis. On the forehead, Oṃ. On the throat, Āḥ. On the heart, Hūṃ. From one's own heart, immeasurable rays of light radiate. From the natural abode and all directions, invite the five wisdom Dakinis as the principal ones, surrounded by countless worldly and transcendental Dakinis, Vajra Samaja! Ḥūṃ baṃ hoḥ, five times. Offer with arghaṃ to śabda. Oṃ hūṃ traṃ hrīḥ a. Oṃ āḥ hūṃ. Praise the glorious Vajra Ḍākinī etc. with two ślokas. Oṃ Buddha Ḍākinī āḥ hrī oṃ hūṃ phaṭ svāhā. Oṃ Vajra Ḍākinī āḥ hrī hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ svāhā. Oṃ Ratna Ḍākinī āḥ hrī traṃ hūṃ phaṭ svāhā. Oṃ Padma Ḍākinī āḥ hrīḥ hrīḥ hūṃ phaṭ svāhā. Oṃ Karma Ḍākinī āḥ hrī a hūṃ phaṭ svāhā. The general mantra is: Oṃ āḥ oṃ hūṃ svā a hā hūṃ phaṭ svāhā. Recite these. Bless the offering cake in accordance with the self-generation, and then offer the first essence cake. Oṃ śrī heruka mahā vajra pratīccha imaṃ bāliṃ hūṃ phaṭ, offer seven times. Then, offer to the Ḍākinīs: Oṃ Buddha Ḍākinī pratīccha imaṃ bāliṃ oṃ phaṭ. Oṃ Vajra Ḍākinī pratīccha imaṃ bāliṃ hūṃ phaṭ. Oṃ Ratna Ḍākinī pratīccha imaṃ bāliṃ traṃ phaṭ. Oṃ Padma Ḍākinī pratīccha imaṃ bāliṃ hrī phaṭ. Oṃ Viśva Ḍākinī pratīccha imaṃ baliṃ a phaṭ. Oṃ Sarva Ḍākinī pratīccha imaṃ bāliṃ ho phaṭ. Offer these three times etc. In detail, offer outer, inner, and secret offerings with verses. Praise with the five verses beginning with "Immovable Vajra, great wisdom." Recite from "All dharmas are like reflections" to "Born into the Buddha family." Pray for the fulfillment of wishes, saying, "Accept this offering cake." Recite the hundred-syllable mantra and ask for forgiveness. Request departure. Gather the samaya beings back into oneself. Perform self-protection, aspirations, and auspiciousness. Offer the above offering cake one hundred and eight times, and offer four sets of five groups of five cakes, which is the hundred cake offering. Offer sixteen sets of four, which is the stick cake offering. Praise for extensive, peaceful, powerful, and wrathful activities. The practice and activity manuals for these should be learned elsewhere. For this cake empowerment: Arrange five heaps in the form of a dharma origin. On top of that, place the forms of the five classes of Ḍākinīs on the five cakes, or write mantra boards. Arrange a small essence cake on a high platform. Arrange the offerings generally, and practice as above, then the
