From emptiness, from the syllable Pam (Tibetan: པཾ) arises a lotus, and from Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ) arises a moon seat, upon which is the red syllable Mu (Tibetan: མུཿ). From the syllable Mu (Tibetan: མུཿ) emanates light, offering to the noble ones, benefiting sentient beings. The light returns and completely dissolves, and oneself becomes the noble Manjushri Wheel of Dharma, with a red body, one face, and two arms. The right hand raises the sword of wisdom in the sky, the left hand holds a book at the heart. The legs are in the vajra posture. He has five locks of hair. Bless the three places, invoke the wisdom deities, and the empowerment and blessing are similar to the Shakyamuni Vajrasana ritual. Akshobhya Buddha adorns the crown. The mantra is: Om Ara Pa Tsa Na Mu (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཨ་ར་པ་ཙ་ན་མུཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ अर प च न मु, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ a ra pa ca na mu, Literal Chinese meaning: Om Ara Pa Tsa Na Mu). Praise: He who holds the body of a youth, well adorned with the lamp of wisdom, dispelling the darkness of the three realms, I prostrate to Manjushri. That is to say, all the Manjushri sadhanas that appear below are also combined with this praise. Among the three Indian treatises on this, in the verses of the sadhana composed by the teacher Bhava Skandha, in the part on the description of the body color, it says, "White rays of light radiate upwards and blaze." Considering this, the idea that the steadfast wheel is white is because, in the case of the seed syllable, there is a lamp of light above, saffron red, and the yogi should look at the syllable Mu (Tibetan: མུཿ). And so on, without understanding that the seed syllable of the cause, and the seed syllable of the mantra wheel, and the mantra wheel itself are also said to be red, and without understanding that in the prose sadhana, it is clearly said to be saffron-colored, and without understanding that this prose sadhana is the explanatory key to the verses. The third sadhana, the extensive sadhana of the steadfast wheel, also says in the translation of the great translator, "Great, red like a Bandhuka flower." Because the intention of the three sadhanas seems to be the same, it is red. Although it is said to be like saffron, red and yellow are not contradictory, but it seems to be considering that the saffron flowers that grow naturally on Mount Palpur in Kashmir are very red when they are in full bloom. Moreover, this statue appears vermilion in actual Indian paintings. The various parts of this ritual should also be analogized in the following chapters, with their respective unique characteristics.
