Be. Om Swasti. Having prostrated to the Lama, Yidam, and Gonpo, I will explain the sadhana of the secret activity protector, the powerful, authoritative, and inseparable, fierce flesh-eater. For anyone who has completed the recitation of either the Yidam or the Great Protector, arrange in front of them a mandala with blood-smeared knives, along with supports, torma offerings, and sacrificial torma. With the self-generation of either the Yidam or the Protector as the preliminary, purify the space in front. In an instant, generate the flesh-eating Jackal-faced one, with a red-black body color, terrifying, baring fangs. From the three eyes, sparks of fire emanate. The hair is brownish-black, blazing upwards. The belly hangs low, and the joints are short. The right hand brandishes a curved knife, and the left hand holds a demon's skull cup filled with human blood at the heart, sucking it into the mouth. The right foot is raised upwards, and the left foot is stomping downwards, crushing the head of the defeated Vaṃ. Adorned with a tiger skin loincloth, a garland of snakes, and strings of intestines. From the pores of the hair, emanate hosts of flesh-eaters and jackals. He dwells in the midst of a whirlwind of fire and wind. Invite and absorb him from the eight great charnel grounds. Adorn the head with a five-pronged vajra. Bless the three places. Clarify the visualization for the recitation. Oṃ Mahākāla Bikala Hari Hūṃ Phaṭ. Recite this a little, and then offer from Argham to Shapta. Hūṃ! The headless dance and the flesh-seeking jackals make sounds. The terrifying corpses cause the skulls to shake. With the retinue, in the charnel ground, whoever performs the dance, the flesh-eating jackal-faced one, I praise you! Establish the oath, pour the oath water, establish the vajra of commitment, increase the offerings, All are done like the nine deities of the curved knife. After that, recite the above heart mantra as much as possible. If you wish to add the activity mantra, you can recite it as appropriate. Bless the torma in accordance with the common ritual. Visualize it as the flesh and blood of enemies and obstacles. At the end of the heart mantra, add Idaṃ Bāliṃta Khakha Khāhi Khāhi Svāhā and offer it. Make prayers of offering, praise, and wish fulfillment. The entrustment of this is: If the student has completed the recitation of the Protector, then do the subsequent permission of the Protector's body, hand the torma to him, and give the instructions in the manner of a command guardian. After that, give the recitation transmission. If the Protector's recitation has not been completed, then after completing the preliminaries of the subsequent permission, hand it over.
