Of the peerless Bodhicitta... Of all Samsara, Nirvana, All the auspicious positions that exist, Abundant like a river's flow, May it always be for all beings... May merit and prosperity increase like Mount Sumeru, May great fame spread like the sky, May long life, health, and spontaneous benefit for others be accomplished, May the ocean of qualities be supremely auspicious! Thus, the auspicious words are spoken. Here it is said: Thus, of the inseparable Lama and Protector, This brief method of accomplishment, Although many holy ones have repeatedly clarified, It was done at the urging of others. By this virtue, may the accomplishment of Bodhi, Be without obstacles, may all favorable conditions be fulfilled, May all supreme and common siddhis, Quickly become the cause of attainment! May those who are cruel and full of hatred, Be destroyed in an instant, May the activities of pacifying, increasing, magnetizing, and wrathful, Spread in the ten directions! This was written by Jonang Tāranātha at the age of twenty-seven at the urging of many supremely virtuous spiritual friends.
