May the broken vows be purified. Vows of the mind. Root vows. Branch vows. Vows that were felt. Vows that were not felt. By making this confession to purify the brokenness and defilements, may the glorious protector and all his retinue, accept it with forbearance like parents and children, and grant me all siddhis at this time. Although there is no object of confession or act of confessing, in order to purify the imprints of conceptualization, may the supreme and holy lords of the land attain great bliss through thorough confession. Offering prayers and confessions is also fine, or it is fine to abandon them if you don't feel like doing them. Then, the recitation is as follows: From the Hūṃ at one's heart, the rosary of mantras, black in color and emitting red rays, remains like a string of beads. The five-colored rays, strung like a thread of a rosary, emerge from one's mouth, enter the mouth of the protector, and dissolve into the Hūṃ at the protector's heart. Again, it arises from the Hūṃ, emerges from the protector's navel, enters one's own navel, and dissolves into the Hūṃ at the heart. Thus, thinking that it constantly revolves like a wheel, recite the essence mantra as much as possible: oṃ vajramahākāla kṣiṃ kṣetravighnān vināyaka hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ phaṭ svāhā. Then, focusing clearly on the fierce recitation, recite: oṃ śrīmahākāla. śāsana. upahariṇi. eṣo'paścima. kālo'ayaṃ idaṃ. ratnatrāya. apakarīṇaṃ. yati pratijñā. smarasi tā dā. idaṃ duṣṭaṃ. kha kha. khāhi khāhi. māra māra. gṛhṇa gṛhṇa. bandha bandha. hana hana. daha daha. paca paca. dīna me kena māraya hūṃ phaṭ. This is the fierce mantra, which is considered to contain all three Tibetan actions of cursing, killing, and subduing. oṃ śrī devī hūṃ phaṭ. This is the name mantra of the goddess. oṃ kṣetrapāla vighnān hūṃ phaṭ. oṃ jina mitra pāśaṃ kuru hūṃ phaṭ. oṃ ṭākkirājā samaya bhyoḥ duja hūṃ phaṭ. oṃ duyagjaṃ mahākāla trakṣad hūṃ phaṭ. These are the essence mantras of the four messengers. Having recited as much as possible in this way, finally, consecrate the torma like the yidam. The tongue of the protector and his retinue, arising from the Hūṃ, draws the torma with the light of a red vajra, and by offering it, their minds are satisfied with uncontaminated bliss and they become delighted. I request and pray to you: Please protect the teachings of the Buddha, praise the glory of the Three Jewels, and uphold the Dharma wheel of the Sangha. In particular, those who destroy the teachings of the Buddha, slander the glory of the Three Jewels, offend the gurus, teachers, parents, and other elders, commit the five heinous crimes, harm and injure all sentient beings, and those who hate us, the teachers, disciples, and retinue, and all the enemies and obstacles who harbor malicious thoughts, please subdue all their evil thoughts and actions through peaceful means. If you cannot subdue them through peaceful means, then please kill, expel, separate, stiffen, stupefy, suppress, threaten, and intimidate them. Furthermore, please pacify all the obstacles caused by past karma and present conditions, be the support for all activities and accomplishments, and fulfill all wishes.
