The Great Torma Offering of the Glorious Field-Protecting Lord of Power: A Practice Manual for Spontaneous Fulfillment of the Four Activities. The Great Torma Offering of the Glorious Field-Protecting Lord of Power: A Practice Manual for Spontaneous Fulfillment of the Four Activities. Herein lies the text entitled "The Great Torma Offering of the Glorious Field-Protecting Lord of Power: A Practice Manual for Spontaneous Fulfillment of the Four Activities." Namo Guru Vajradhrika Aryataraye. Here, I shall briefly explain the essential instructions for the ritual procedures of the torma offering to the glorious, black, four-faced Great Field-Protecting Lord who proclaims "Haha." When the place and time are right, first and foremost, the practitioner must be one who upholds their vows and has completed a substantial recitation of their chosen deity (yidam). This could be a mandala such as that of the Guhyasamaja according to the Yeshe Zhab tradition, or any lineage of glorious Heruka and Vajrakrodha. In particular, since the key to this practice lies in its gentle lineage and ease of application, it is considered especially important to have completed one round of recitation of a deity from the lineage of the Bhagavati Tara. Furthermore, due to the auspicious connection of the same lineage, the swift savior Tara is widely praised. Others, such as Kurukulle, are also acceptable. Having thus completed the recitation of the chosen deity beforehand, it is excellent if the practice and recitation sequence of this glorious Protector is repeated three times. It is absolutely essential to have completed it at least once. However, in Tibet, if the main focus is on displaying the grandeur of the ritual assembly, as is the practice both in the past and present, then the leader of the assembly must also have completed the recitation of this glorious Protector. Others are only eligible to participate in this ritual assembly if they have completed the recitation of any chosen deity. If you wonder whether this Dharma Protector requires another Gonpo as a superior subjugator, it is generally not necessary, as it is sufficient that the chosen wrathful deity subdues him and the Bhagavati Mother earnestly urges him on. However, in this land of Tibet, since there is a custom of one practitioner relying on many Dharma Protectors of different types, the instruction manuals contain methods for a superior subjugator. From the great Sakya Pandita onwards, it has been well done to always use the Gur Gonpo as the superior subjugator. In general, if one wishes to do so, one can use not only that, but also the glorious Four-Faced Gonpo combined, or the one with a hooked knife according to the Gangton tradition, or the Four-Armed Yeshe Gonpo.

six, etc. It is fine to rely on any great protector. However, in general, there must be a single practice for this protector alone, and the actual methods of practice for this protector himself must be done in that way, so that is what is mainly explained. If it is just a matter of making and offering torma, it is not unacceptable if you have not specifically propitiated the Dharma protector, even if you have propitiated the yidam well. But if you are throwing a great torma, if you have not specifically propitiated this protector himself, you will create something that is not beneficial to yourself or others. Now I will explain the order of how to do it: In that place, decorate with banners, curtains, etc., as much as possible. On a high platform, arrange the guru torma and the general yidam torma, as well as the actual Dharma protector and the general dakini torma, and the five sets of torma between the earth lords. Or one for the yidam, five for the six realms torma. Arrange the special torma of Tara, etc., and the ordinary fulfillment torma, which has the form of wealth, small triangular food offerings, four sides, and four skull forms. If possible, on the support stone, place a triangular Dharma source, black in the center, with a red border. On that, place sun cushions in the center and four directions. Arrange five piles of black beans, or according to the method of arranging seventeen piles, it is not necessary to draw the Dharma source. On top of that, cover a black tent. Even without a support stone, these torma rituals will not lack the necessary conditions. In any case, on a convenient ground in front of the yidam torma, place a square platform that actually exists, or if not, draw a red or black square with colored powder, etc. There, draw a large eight-petaled lotus, black in the center, blue petals, and a green border. On top of the center, place a high platform such as a cushion. In a wide iron vessel, put black bean flour, old black flowers, and human bone ash, and make a heart-shaped sadhana torma. Place small triangular food offerings in the four directions, and stack twenty-seven hooks in each direction, encircling it with one hundred and eight hooks. Decorate it with meat, blood, etc., and surround it with various food essences. On top of the eight lotus petals, place a slightly lower platform, and place a rakta vessel in front. Arrange a triangular food offering on each of the other seven. On all of these, place a single effigy.
